What if the characters weren't Ben's aliens but aliens of the same species using Ben's names as alieses. Like that's not Heatblast, that's a Pyronite. The same way Scout's name isn't Scout is Jeremy. Heavy is Misha, Demoman is Travis, etc. That way the designers have more liberty with the desings instead of "There's a bunch of Bens fighing each other of some reason". We also can have Ben as alternative skins, and maybe even Ben 23, 10k, Gwen 10, Albedo and the evil Bens for variety. Hell, Eon could just be himself instead of of a Chronian.

imagine he has so much hp or defense that instead of dying conventionally he only has to worry about his pain tolerance. or rather, the frequency of attacks. while someone's holding him, the worst player effectively has to do a tony hawk pro skater manual mini game to not lose his "balance" and if they fail, he falls out of their hand. bro is practically invincible but takes a ton of knockback or something. could potentially even bounce off walls like a bouncy ball if hit hard enough.

Depending on the character size, ditto can make a total of 3 clones to give to aliens, 1per person, that absorb damage, we can call these ditto shields. These clones can also be used to slow down enemies, 1per enemy. A enemy slowed with a ditto also takes extra damage from the main ditto, but can also, *specifically* from an ally that has an active ditto shield, take more damage.

Honestly I feel like Wildmutt could be a strategist, using the scent powers to track evasive/invisible enemies and make them easier to hit for the team, and maybe using a roar or something to push characters into a specific area. Maybe even something to make your own team harder to hit, like an intimidate/fear effect? Idk I just feel like Wildmutt would be really good at zoning lol, but I'll admit I've only watched a few videos about Rivals so far, maybe that is a more vanguard role

A good chunk of the aliens ults should be them going ultimate/form switching (suit NRG to base nrg, chromostone to buffed out version of chromo onesie Diamondhead which is better then the one on the select menu which gives incentive, gray matter to a gunner version of upgrade to reference destroy all aliens, waybig going waybad for a size health and damage boost but sacrificing how many charges he has on hes attacks, ghostfreak to zscar, nanomech into the swarm) also i think upgrade could be an amazing support due to his ability to merge with any mechanical wearing or mechanical based alien and when upgrade merges with them they get a 150 health boost, a faster fire rate and a upgrade texture where every the mechanical part may be and for upgrade so his not just a spectator whenever he aims downsight his head pops out of the body and you can fire hes eye lasers. Also shockrock should have an ablity where if anyone on his team goes ultimate then they get shockrock armor which is like a 15%health boost and a 20% faster reload time

This is a really fun video and I like it a lot. I know that you intend to do characters later but at least for now since it's just aliens, the light premise you could roll with for this is that it's simulations being run inside the Omnitrix. Hell, if you wanted to go further maybe this is the thousands of years of combat simulated to create Ultimates in the Ultimatrix.

I was actually thinking about possibly putting Brainstorm in a possible Strategist role, because he has been shown to be able to made shields out of his brain electricity before. Possibly, instead of being able to heal other characters like normal strstegists, he could be one that gives shields to his teammates, aswell as being able to climb on walls, possibly being like how the spider-folk do wall crawling but instead of being attackers he could pottentially go to interesting vantage points to be a shielder that the enemy team can't think of "why are you there?"

I would change Wampire to strategist because I can see the mind control bat thing he spits out as a buffer as in it buffs whoever picks it up. I would make it so anyone can pick it up but the enemies will be mind controlled after the buff runs out for the same amount of time the buff was. I would also put Brainstorm, Goop, and Slapback as strategist just to have more of them. I would switch out Ripjaws and Toepick’s roles. I see Toepick as more of a strategist that is basically Pixie Dust and Gutrot. These two are a major stretch since we never see them do any of this but I would maybe put Chromostone and Heatblast as strategist (as you can tell I really like being the support role). Because I can imagine Heatblast being phoenix like character similar to Marco from One Piece where he has the phoenix devil fruit which can heal others so he is the doctor of his crew. And Chromostone or one of the aliens that can absorb and redirect can absorb attacks and redirect them to heal. I chose Chromostone because of the rainbow energy he shoots out, it looks like it could heal. That’s why they are a huge stretch but possible if people are willing for the game to add new abilities to these aliens.

For the story I think the best for it would be that in this timeline, Ben never even got the Omnitrix because instead of sending it to earth, Azmuth instead decided to use it against Vilgax killing them both and sending out a shockwave throughout the universe making its tenants (All the alien species) more aggressive towards other species making them have a intergalactic war fighting each other making, Omnitrix Rivals (Name's still in progress). Sidenote Ideas 1. you can make the Ascalon a main point in the game where most alien species want it to wipe out the others 2. You can make Vilgax return where we have to unite against him 3. You make the starting base roster just the classic aliens, because of Ben's starting aliens too. 4. You can have aliens also make alliances like the halloween ones 5. You can have the Plumbers and Galvins be unaffected because of Azmuth's technology and make them the only ones trying to make peace again. like with making Albedo the lead Galvin Scientist, Grandpa Max come out of retirement, Making Ben join to just be a normal plumber and make the plumber factions just a bunch of earth's potential villains like the Rooters and such

I feel like stinkfly should be support. The kind of support that doesn't rely only on heals but on utility. Maybe his goo shots would heal (like they're patching up wounds) but mostly he would support his team by slowing down enemies and setting them up for easy pickoffs. He'd be like an Arial SUPPORT drone with little healthy and huge mobility. A High priority target that serves as an annoyance to distract the enemy during fights

Ballweevil vanguard is so funny at the beginning of the match he spawns a large goo ball and rides around while spitting small goo balls from up top. As it’s shot more and more the goo ball will shrink till it eventually breaks and now you have to kill tiny ballveevil with a very tiny amount of health

YOO my brother and I do this but with our own characters/characters we really like. I have a character named Akira and he's insanely strong. We made him more of an attack vanguard. We gave him full 900 health and he's all melee. Essentially he's a mix of Iron Fist and Monster Hulk. His Ultimate is a transformation that allows extends his punching range essentially shooting out air bullets from his punches. It also lets him cancel his special moves, and he doesn't flinch. He's essentially made specifically for being a force that can't be ignored. Instead of protecting his teammates, he draws attention away from them as a priority. Unfortunately this means that if he's ganged up on, he can survive for a bit but not for long, and he takes less damage from physical attacks, more damage from non physical attacks like Wanda's magic. He might be a little broken but I had fun thinking about what his kit would be.

I think Ghostfreak would be support. He just doesn't have a lot of offensive abilities, but he definitely wouldn't be a healer. I imagine he could "possess" allies, and they get buffs while he's on them. Ripjaws should 100% be a DPS. Basically, Black Panther, but probably with the Jeff submerge ability. NRG would be a tank, but when he leaves his suit, he would basically be Iron Man. The way I would do Alien X is he be a strategist, but he would be really slow with a ton of health. His abilities would be really strong but have really long cooldowns.

I've been doing this exact thing with Mortal Kombat characters. 😂 Also Ripjaw could work as an assassin with Jeff's ability to go underwater to avoid damage. He can come out and deal slash attacks and bite attacks. Then maybe he can abduct enemies and take them under water while dealing damage to kinda take someone out without being scathed.

Okay im 7:08 in rn, but I already got an idea for spider monkey The obvious pick is to make him like Spider-Man, he's very mobile, he's fairly small, it works fine. Ultimate Spider Monkey (being his ult obvi) becomes a bridge between DPS and Tank. He gets more health, more damage, but thats in exchange for his mobility. He could still web swing and climb walls, but he can't quickly go from grounded to high ground as before, maybe his swinging can be closer to wrecking ball which would make him a momentum focused swinger. If the balance between the cast is right, maybe he could just stay in his ultimate for at least a minute given that he's DSP focused instead of tank focused

I haven't played marvel rivals but from my knowledge of ben 10, I think swamp fire should be a strategist /sub vanguard, sure I can do some damage but his biggest assets are his chlorokinesis (so he could summon plant traps,shields or even temporary mobs) and regeneration powers not only is he shown to eat fatal hit like tuesday (first ep he get shoot throught with laser guns and bro just say it tickles) but he's also shown to be able to heal others in the show (he once reattached the severed hand of an hybrid). So I think more of a very mobile strategist ( with low defense but lots of health and some passive self-healing) that can do a bit of melee and ranged fight (but with nerfed damage output to make it more balanced) and making his ulti a healing move (heal his teamates within range while debuffing the enemy). His main gameplay could be to set traps using plants (then we could use other alien like wildmutt to conter it since in the show he's now for his radar-like smelling ability).

An idea we could do for this is that ben could become any of these characters and be an extremely flexible character but you can only choose between 4 aliens that all have their own abilities 3 normal aliens for specific roles and 1 for an ultimate That way we dont have the entire roster be just bens aliens and they can be in their own category for ben only Maybe theirs a progression system too where you have to unlock the aliens to be able to use them

yeah 4 sounds the best,i mean weve played games like omniverse 1 and cosmic destruction where weve hade to play as only four aliens a level I think we can manage granted if weve got ultimate forms.

Alien x would be a all rounder he is fast strong and can heal/create things. But I think It would make more sense for him to be a boss for a season/update

Biomnitrix ben10k would go hard. My belief is that ultimate ben10k would be added as like most of the rival characters their human with powers. Additionally if there’s a character in ben10 that’s one of bens aliens then they’ll probably add them as individual characters like Tetrax, Looma, ship, simian, dr psychobos ect. Rather than individual transformations Ben would have master control and every attack, combo ect would switch him into a new form to perform the action such as sprinting would turn you into fastrack, flying would be Stinkfly and sprint flying would be jetray. Light attacks would be rath and heavy would be fourarms. Blocking would be NRG and blocking while moving would be cannonbolt. Holding the jump button would turn you into crashhopper. Default form or idle form would just be Ben. Ranged attacks would be diamond head with a charged ranged attack from heatblast. In this scenario Ben would be all three categories and be hard to master but you’d be able to switch into support or attacker, swampfire is ridiculous and deserves his own category as he’s a vanguard duelist capable of healing others with abilities in strategist able to set up bombs and snaring vines and has regeneration. Do headshots exist in this game?, if so goops antigravity projector would have to be the thing that gets headshots. Amphibian can read minds so he should be able to see the opponents meters. Nrg at low health exits the suit. Terraspin is resistant to magic attacks. Maybe whampire can syphon off meter and make people fight for him until they they take a certain amount of damage or break free

I think when it comes to alien x you could have three versions of him for each type of class like a big buff tank alien x a slim female alien x that Is a support and the normal alien x with a twist on him for dps

I'm really enjoying the video but I disagree with some of the placements, i haven't really played Rivals though so may not understand the roles as well I think Upgrade could be a pretty good Vanguard, obviously you'd have to take liberties and make him more similar to Malware but with his tech stiff he can really fit any role, and with so many tech based (Uphrade, Jury Rig, Greymatter Astrodactyl kind of) aliens I'd want to move them around a bit I disagree with Ripjaws as a strategist, my first thought was Vanguard but thought Duelist would have worked as well. I think your idea for Spitter being a Vanguard was a good idea and my first thought for it. I think Swampfire should have been a Strategist or even a Vanguard. Swampfire and Heatblast are similar charecters so I don't think they should be in the same category Same with Way Big and Humongosaur. One of them should have been a Duelist imo (personally Way big is that role for me) I don't know why and I do think Feedback is at a good placement but he gives me more Strategist vibes. Goop 100% should have been a Vanguard. One of the big things I remember about him is how hard he is to hurt. Now, no clue about the balance of Rivals classes but becauae of how many Duelists there were Rath should have been in Vanguard. I think Terraspin should of been a Strategist. It makes sense for the charecter with their species being mostly peaceful and we need more of them. Again personal prefrence I don't like putting the similar aliens in the same role so I would probably move XLR8 into Strategist I do like your ideas for the differences between XLR8 and Fastraxk though. Once again I'm disagreeing with your Vanguard placement in favor of strategist. I feel like with Clockwork's powers he's got a ton of potential as a Strategist, rewinding time to before damage was taken, giving allies a speed-up by fast-forwarding them, etc. Based on design, I probably would of swapped Upchuck and Eatle but still do exactly what you said with them having similar movesets but focused on their particular role. Ball Wevile I like as a vanguard but may I suggest Strategist, with the Jeff the Shark gimmick of leaving healing balls around I think it would work Hear me out, Walkatrout Vanguard Hear me out again, Strategist Atomix I think your first thought of Whampire strategist makes sense, he could have a gimmick with needing to apply hos Corrupturas to allys to use his abilities though. Disagree hard with Slapback's placement and it's not just me disliking putting aliens with the same ability in the same role this time. Slapback's entire thing is getting more and more dense so I could see that translating well into an abilitiy where he gets slow for some damge resistance/armor. Imo Surge is a Strategist, not really a disagreement since you didn't know him but thought I should say it. Sorry if this seems rude or anything like that I really enjoyed the video but it got me thinking about what I would do differently and so wanted to say my thoughts somewhere.
