the commenters were not watching close enough. I been hanging siding or almost 40 years and I saw that you were doing it correctly and a good job. I'm just fast at it from so much experience. you're doing great. I'm a structural aluminum contractor in Florida since 1988. keep up the good work and never be afraid to learn new things 👍..p.s. you can pry the nail out or tap it in some while looking down the nail bar to help keep the siding straighter less wavy
