Will, do you know if this BMW club sport wheel rim will operate at higher / regular torque mode with a DD1 wheelbase or will it reduce it to a lower torque mode (like with the McLaren GT3 rim) … thanks mate!!

Ahhhh, now here is where we differ. You have the BMW wheel, but I chose the Porsche 918 Wheel from Fanatec. Now we gotta argue which is better.......lol J/K. Thanks for the vids, keep it going. When I'm ready to go PC, I know where to come.

​@@boostedmedia, In the last couple of months I just learned about Sim Racing .. Never knew it existed. So I have consumed 100's of hours of YT video's of the your's and others that you probably know. It's a long list! Did a bunch of research on the equipment being used. Finalized on Fanatec offerings. Took awhile to make a choice.. and your video's helped considerably. Especially the "Budget Video". I didn’t actually go the Budget route. I purchased the CSW 2.5, BMW M3 GT2, and the CSL Elite Pedals LC. And a GT Omega Apex Wheel Stand. Barry Roland’s review sold me on it. So, not to take much of your time. The reason I asked about the BMW wheel is because I did consider going the Budget route with the P1 Wheel. And the video’s I found concerning the P1, Fanatec supplied extra button’s with icons, and I think a sheet of lables. So, I guess I’ll have to acquire the knowledge how to best purpose them. So, in a nutshell I looked forward to seeing that “Follow up Video” Curtis

Right on man. I just ordered one and want to play Dirt Ralley 2.0, but do you have any recommendations for arcadey games? I want something really easier to drive and enjoy when non-enthusiast friends come over.

Assetto corsa can be great fun if you can set up your own server! Especially with mods. Definitely recommend it. It's not arcade but it's great fun. For an real arcade game I recommend Forza Horizon 4. Great fun and arcade.

Just a spring and a contact switch.

The BMW gt2 shown in this video is not. You need one of the specific Xbox rims for it to work. Csl p1, McLaren gt3, and any of the Xbox universal hub based ones.

If you go on the website it say but with a specific bass you can use this wheel on xbox but dubel check

do you think the csl elite base would have ffb lose with this wheel?..because it's twice the weight of the P1

It works great I have the CSL 1.1 and the bmw rim and it works absolutely perfect I was worried at first as well but works great

@@Rosinfiend Since I am on the ps4, I am looking also into getting the combination of the CSL Elite and the BMW GT2 wheel. So it does not feel to heavy in a way that it wants to bend the CSL base ?

@@maasmarco it works fine, just as good as any other wheel they have tbh, just finished a hour race on iracing with it and worked perfect, the feedback is still there
