That’s really really great mate! I really like it, I’ve got lots of scraps because I have wanted to make some garden beds for awhile, thanks for the tips. Now, If only you could come give a hand, I’m sure I would learn loads from you.

Very nice. Simple and clearly long lasting which is one of the struggles of a wooden raised bed.

Great video & so well explained- can't wait to see it planted out. I am going to increase my beds this way. Cheers Denise - Brisbane

Terrific idea using the conduit on top to cancel out the risk of injury.

Great idea & helpful for me! My question is the thickness of the corrugated iron in this video. Thanks & stay healthy~.
@homesteading3 жыл бұрын
It would be 0.48 mm BMT. The thinner is fine but supports need to be closer.

@@homesteading OK and Thanks! I'll try adding several props to 0.25 mm iron I have.

I made one the other week. I filled the bottom up with rotten logs from the river, dry leaves, sea grass from Margate garden soil, compost and topped it off with a good quality potting mix. I saved myself a bucket of cash!

Thank you so much for this video. I have been purchasing Birdie's Raised garden Beds but they are so expensive. I will definitely give these a go.

I really like every thing you post.....actually think I’ve gone through them all.....wish I lived in a climate closer to your but have learned many things on your channel. The Vicola canning system so intrigued me....I live in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and can mostly with mason jars....love the strait forward thinking that you have.....just a great channel......

Great video. What kind of scissor do you use to cut the metal?

metal shears, aka "tin snips"

I have been looking for the video where you make raised garden bed from scratch with no cutting of the iron... I can't find it... Could you please send me the link... Cheers Tim
