I used the exact process reclaiming wood from an old barn door. It was still completely in tact so when we took it apart found out that it was tongue and groove joints, same as in this, and I put it together with biscuit joints instead of dowels :) It's nice to see someone else using processes I recognise all so well haha

I found some table legs very similar to yours in a dumpster recently. As soon as I can find some reclaimed wood for the top, I will be building the same type of table. This video is a huge inspiration to get that project going! Would love to see more reclaimed wood projects on your channel!

Is a cat tree one of those intricate scratching posts? that's an awesome video idea :) so many dog houses, cats aren't getting the DIY love

Yes but it can be as simple or complex as you want. I've made one before out of scrap conduit and scrap pine boards that came from an old box spring. You kind of just wrap the vertical or slanted supports with twine and the cats love it. Cats also love the rustic wood!

Very nice! I love the top finish. I would have gotten lumber for the legs and apron and even 2 or 3 drawers because I can do joinery like that. Keep at it and you will too but I'm glad you got your sponsor. Used to work at an antique shop in RI and my friend and I would knock out repro farm tables from barn boards like crazy then take them to the friendly competition in MA and sell it for $1100 on consignment. They would just eat them up and we possibly used up all the reclaimed lumber in RI

That's a really beautiful table! There's a lumber yard close to me in Lancaster county, PA, that sells new and reclaimed lumber, and I have been itching to get to that place. My husband says he'll take me if I go with him to an auto salvage yard! lol
