Very cool. I have something very similar but I run the pump with a 20 volt Dewalt battery. I thought about getting a voltage converter but it seems to run well at 20 volts. I'm getting about a gallon every 2.5 minutes but it's also a super cheap pump from Amazon.

Very cool! If it ever burns out you're only out 10 bucks or whatever. Probably runs way better overvolted. It's not like it's seeing continuous duty. It's not stupid if it works!

I might make one of these, but with a .50 cal ammo crate from the army surplus store.

Heck yeah. You’d have tons of room. I thought about an ammo can too but I wanted the orange and I wanted as compact as I could go.

To each his own but this was extremely Overkill and you wasted a lot more money than you needed to. The cheapest 12 volt Automotive pump online is like $6. Put standard 1/4" fuel line on both ends with a standard cheap filter before the pump. Cut the ends off of the fuel pump and put Spade connectors on which fit perfectly into any Milwaukee battery. I own a small engine repair business and this is what I used to empty all of my machines and it works perfectly

Fair hit! I would describe myself as an overkill kind of guy 😎 Nice to hear that the Amazon-special pumps hold up. Thanks for the tips! How many GPH do you think you get through the quarter-inch lines with the smaller pump? It would be nice to have something smaller in diameter.
