I download my cc from curseforge because I can’t figure out the unzipping of files and such. I download a lot of Harry stuff, and I’ve noticed Felix as well. Just haven’t seen ceiling textures as of yet.

my aunt lived there for many years and my cousin (her son) was mostly raised and still lives there. i’ve only ever heard good things about it from them. hopefully this spring i will be visiting my cousin there for a week or two and i’m ecstatic!! i can’t wait to see the beauty for myself.

I was born in San Francisco and grew up in the Bay Area. The city used to be magical! It isn’t anymore. Ever since it became a sanctuary city, it’s been overrun by filth dirt, drug users, and the homeless. The places that used to be popular to visit are shut down, or the entrances overwhelmed by the homeless and you can’t even get into the place you want to go. Many major retailers have left the city. Many venues have closed permanently. The city is on a sharp decline and in another five years it’s not gonna be a place that anyone wants to go. 😢😢😢

Unfortunately agree with Debra. Been living there for 4 years and moving out next month because of obnoxious prices and the increase in crime, homelessness and drug use. Very sad.

I live in SF and I’m constantly in awe of how beautiful the homes are here. I go on long walks through my favorite neighborhoods to appreciate the architecture. Even the marina/spanish-style boxy homes built in the 1920s in the southern part of the city (where I am) are so charming to me!!

This house was absolutely dreamy, it hit all my fave victorian details with a lovely modern twist, so clean and it 100% smells SO good here. Bless your ever loving soul for placing all those wall decorations outside, but you're right, they just give it a little jenesaispas!

This is the build item style I was hoping the Growing Together pack came with, (along with stained glass windows & doors), & was so disappointed, when it was Craftsman again. Hopefully they do it in the future, or a CC creator makes a set dedicated to this style

San Francisco!! my hometown 🥹🌁🌉 broadway street has amazing and beautiful houses. our hills can be a exercise for sure 😅 but those houses are so nice, it’s always featured in photographers photos on instagram lol

i’m so happy you chose to do an American Victorian house!! i made a comment about the houses of Victorian Village in Columbus, Ohio and they are a similar Victorian townhouse style. i don’t know if you saw the comment but regardless i’m glad you got the idea.😊 also, i’d absolutely love for you to highlight a Midwestern home in this series at some point, Aden. i think you’d be able to do it really well. and i don’t mean the generic suburban houses built in the 90s-2000s, but the older houses, especially mid-century split-level or one-story ranch homes. i’d love to live in a 60s/70s split-level house one day. they feel very quintessentially American and i’d love to see your take on one that is still very retro and not remodeled. personally i love building those type of retro houses and Victorian townhouses like this!!

Thoughts on the decorative CC ceilings: I bet the sims would do us dirty and the patterns would go wonky like how the siding with corners doesn't always give you corners. My proposal is a CC ceiling decoration, that way we could chose the placement and then use tool for size- possibly annoying for gameplay? but maybe it would disappear in walls down view?

San Francisco has definitely got a lot of steep streets, but I have actually walked on the official Guinness Book of World Records’ steepest street. It’s called Baldwin St and is in Dunedin, New Zealand. I didn’t actually make it to the steepest part because my legs were burning. Going down was so much worse 😂

Would you consider building a mid century apartment complex? I’ve tried to rebuild this apartment complex (1158 Park Ave. Alameda, CA) but as a pink retro complex. I love a painted lady. It's one of my favorite types of homes to build in the Sims. I lived in one as a kid & it felt like being in a time capsule next to all the modern track homes & ranches in my hometown. But whitewashing a historic painted lady really should be illegal.
