DIY Building a Shed in Kansas for the tractor, generator and skinning deer!
Had to have something to get the tractor out the rain and something to house the generator so it wouldn’t make so much noise, plus we needed a skinning shed! So I built this little cheap and easy barn outside the Kansas cabin!

Lookin' great Jeff. A thought... One winch, short cables from gambrels to an eye. Two pulleys along the top, one for each lifting point for a gambrel. Raise deer, carabiner to an eye, release tension on the winch, route it to the next lifting point, raise deer #2, same rig lifts both deer. Add eyes/gambrels as needed if expansion is desired.

Jeff you've been extremely inspiring to me I've been wanting to for the last 20 years to build something like this up on my lakes spot out the middle of nowhere where I deer hunt and I would like to make it similar to what you're doing so that my son and his kids can come and stay and hopefully train the kids to hunt appreciate you and all the info it's been excellent

Jeff you have so many good ideas when it comes to making a link to most people don't understand the lean to the lean to is something that prevents wind rainwater and a certain amount of cold to come in but you give us the instructions and the knowledge of what it can do for us and how to do it inexpensively I appreciate that because I've been doing that for a long time but this a frame that you built in Kansas buddy I'm going to build one on my lake property where I deer hunt and guess what buddy you are invited to come up in deer hunt with me so you need to shoot me an email so that me and you can be more personal and go back and forth I want you to come up and hunt with me once you realize what I'm hunting on and what I have which is a $46,000 acre ranch it's the largest intact working ranch in Oklahoma and I'm right in the middle of it in the best geographical spot there is I think you'll want to come up here and hunt

Hey great job Jeff, I enjoy watching your videos. Keep a eye out for an old Onan RV generator like a 6.5 NH 1980s vintage. They made them gas or propane or both. They last forever and at 1800 rpm are noticeably quieter than your 3600 rpm screamer. Heck you can even hook them up to remote start via a control cable.

put a drop table/shelf in the shed… on hinges with bracing that keeps it up or collapses under the table as it drops down and makes room for the tractor. Just have to pull the tractor out of the way to open or raise the table up to use it. You could make it in two minutes flat! lol

I moved to Nevada some months back and am living off grid. I purchased a solar powered generator which has worked fantastic. Knowing the days start getting shorter from middle June thru mid December I purchased a duel fuel generator also and it too has been fantastic. I've got it set across from my tiny house and am planning on erecting a generator closet of sorts to cut down the noise even more. Certainly would be nice if our propane was closer in price to what you're paying. Here I'm paying over $ 2.50 a gallon but still cheaper than gas. I love what you're doing with the Kansas cabin. Such a nice little space.
