Cracking video, thanks Triss. It really is coming together so well! As you say, making it fun and light :). I did like the use of sand for the roadway in the last episode, might use it for my road. I need to be careful, all these regular mini episodes has got me thinking, there are 2 spare baseboards in my loft 🤔........

These are coming thick and fast, Tris - you're making excellent progress! You have inspired me to get started on my own planned shunting layout which I have put off for far too long... wood ordered and arriving next week!

Really nice work Tris, it does look like lots of fun and nicely done too 😊👍✌️💜 Im building up a couple of resin scratch aid kits (from two manufacturers) for lineside huts in 7mm. Lots of fun adding details like door latches, different style roofs and barge boards etc. I work in ten minute bursts due to health issues and shaky hands now (adapting how I do things - Ive another family member with different hand disabilities and he's given me hints and tips), very therapeutic though almost a must Id say👍✌️💜😊

Another great video. First time I have seen an airbrush used, and I now know what an activator is😀 You have inspired me to book myself onto the DCC Supplies “basic wiring & soldering course” so I can begin my own layout. Would be good to know what core kit you use (soldering iron, airbrush etc.) and any thoughts you have on what to look out for when purchasing all this stuff.

Tris, can you tell me which airbrush compressor you are using and is the circular jar on the workplace a compressor or a moisture trap. I am following with interest as I am planning a 4ft by 1ft shelf layout as space is my problem

I thought the hardstand was going to extend further to cover the refueling area? Or did you have something else in mind?

I agree it looks like it needs something there now.

I have enjoyed the videos so far, but you had to say “PROTOTYPICAL” didn’t you. I know it’s the rail modellers “little word”, but any channel that uses it is OUT!
