I think if they did youtube full time they would lose the lightness and freeness to their videos. This still feels like a small channel because they care about their content quality and audience, not paying the bills (and whether raid shadow legends or some other bs company is going to pay them or not). Keep it up, you guys are awesome!

Those rear turn signal brackets might need additional support other than just 1 bolt holding them on, as she drives around with it those will rattle around until plastics tear up and they come loose. Doing additional support for those upper brackets under rear fender will help a ton as it's more solid, idk what's the best way to connect them. Awesome video, hopefully we get full year of quality content :P
@Hellsong892 жыл бұрын
Metal fatique might kick in after while on those bends if not reinforced at the end. Just bend peace from one side to another under the fender using bolts visible under there and connect to ones made with welding for clean results and with poprivets if just ok or alternatively just make new bracket using top mounting points to hold it in place. Then again excessive reinforcement might cause cracking of the fearing if...when she fells with it. Maybe instead of aluminum use plastic peace separate of the fearing to reinforce it so that can give in. Some use rubber mounts to limit vibrations for the blinkers to save them any vibration related damage but its not perfect solution.
@MrBrutalMachinee2 жыл бұрын
@@Hellsong89 I'm more concerded for plastic fatique, aluminium most likely outlasts plastic for years even with those bends, after all those were made right from the start. Rubber for blinkers would be good on back side as most blinkers have it already on another side from the factory, even on cheap ones. Tube going to blinker housing is rubber almost always, not counting any wish/aliexpress nonsense
@Nevir2022 жыл бұрын
I’m not sure what you think you’re seeing, but where those things are attached, is literally where the plastic fender attaches to the frame, so the bolt which is holding those things on is supported by the frame of the motorcycle. There is no “plastic fatigue” involved here.
@projectdirtbikes Жыл бұрын
Yeah I was thinking the same thing, especially with it being a 2 stroke.
@henrycoversguitar9 ай бұрын
I agree with this comment, and would like to add that the rear blinker is tapping on the exhaust which creates a lot of excess noise. Great video though! Loved watching the whole series!

I’m so glad I found your channel again. I had lost track of it a few years ago when you had just finished getting you Trail 90 running. I love watching your videos and you genuine attitude! Actually your relationship together remind me of me and my wife’s! I just watched the video where you wound up giving those young guys the Honda 125 3 wheeler that was the donor motor for your Honda Trail 90. I hope they got back to you and sent pictures of what they built out of it. I hope you show them, if they actually followed through. That was a really nice thing you did. I also watched your recent video about trying to manage working and moving. I live in SoCal ☹️ and have been trying to move out of here for a long time and its difficult and stressful managing everything at once so I understand. Good luck and I hope you get it worked out! On another note, I’m a fan of smaller bikes. I’ve been looking for a Yamaha TW200 for years here. Used ones are non existent here and the dealers (FBC) here are all adding $1000 gouging fees to a $4800 bike which is obscene. You had mentioned selling bikes occasionally. I don’t know what part of the country your in but I would be interested in a TW if you find or fix one and wanted to sell it. If it made sense with cost and travel or shipping of course. Just thought I would throw that out there. I’d bet between your mechanical ability and your videos that everybody seems to really enjoy, you could have a a nice career just doing that! Would love to hear back if you have time and I’m looking forward to your next video!
