I really love the twin barrel turret designs so much. The Grizzly from Halo Wars 1 and 2, and the Mammoth, Apocalypse Tank, and Overlord from Command and Conquer, CnC Red Alert, and CnC Generals are all perfect example of duel turret design tanks.

There's also the original Heavy Tank from Red Alert and the Warlord Tank of the Asia-Pacific Alliance from Generals 2.... And I guess the Hammer Tank from 3 depending on how and what you count the leached weapons as. Edit: Oh, and the Forgotten's cut Grinder tank which was cut because of it resembling an Ork Bonecrusha and as an honorable mention because it's cool the cut Bombard... Which was cut because well, it's just a Baneblade sans the Heavy Bolters in the sponsons and the Lascannons are replaced with normal cannons.

twin barrel vehicles only work for AA. For anti tank you end up hitting different parts of the enemy for half the armor penetration, causing less or no dmg there's a tank called VT-2 but it was just a prototype

@@caralho5237 Double barreled tanks would adjust their scopes for each barrel so they still hit in the middle. But i dont think they are really needed since reloading a single gun is fast enough and there is no need for a second one.

@@DeadAccount53885 The thing is that with a double barreled tank you would need to use a smaller cannon than you would if you only had 1 barrel, because of limited internal space. Sure you could account for innacuracy but you'd still have to compromise on gun penetration. There are weird vehicles like the M50 ontos, which has 6 recoilless rifles, but they're exposed and reloading them is a pain

You could actually call it a "Braunbär". The germans love to give their tanks animal names so it would fit. Braunbär means Brownbear in german (surprise!)

Oooooh...Love me some super heavy tank designs... Gosh, It looks amazing ^w^ Keep it up. Also: The armor of the maus was substantial: the hull front was 220 mm (8.7 in) thick, and the sides and rear of the hull were up to 190 mm (7.5 in). The turret armor was even thicker, the turret front was up to 240 mm (9.4 in), and the sides and rear 200 mm (7.9 in). I know you don't do historical recreations, but if you ever decide to do another super-heavy tank design, you can base the armor on this since you were curious about the armor.

With guns as big as that, it's really useful to have a smaller gun with the same muzzle velocity as the main guns. You could put it into that small turret on the top and it would give you accurate ranging shots.

the maus front plate ranged from 220-230 mm in thickness, i cant find the effective armor thickness though

Not to sound like a negative lil beetch, but I'd much rather have heard about the tank and building process than veterinary-vehicular-hot-beverage-adventures with Will (though feel free to use that as the name of a podcast) :^) And I'd like to see more of the building process, definitely the armouring process. The shear lack of post-build content in this game right now means the building process and the specs of the vehicle are the most interesting part. Also the audience is most likely to learn something useful from the build process. Just a bit of constructive criticism for you ;P

i made 20mm cannon with max propellant and a .9 second reload time once. i had to pump 50ish rounds into the side of a King Tiger turret to take one out but I was really happy with that reload. I tend to favor 65mm-80mm cannons with 3 second or less reload times

The problem is you front plate(the overhanging bit over the tracks) has that horizontal slope, meaning if you angle, that part is now flat(on the horizontal plane). REMOVE IT. It's a flaw!

I swear the AI tanks cheat. I'm sure it has been confirmed or denied somewhere but they ALWAYS seem to be better than anything the player can make and/or in greater numbers than you're allowed for equivalent performance.
