Hey everyone and welcome back to Zeepkist! Today we're checking out the brand new FAN update with the developer of Zeepkist! This update adds customizable fans and other parts so today we're building a track with the dev and these new parts!

I like that the sunflowers actually face the sun. It's a nice touch and just shows that the dev really cares about the game

ideas: -broken tubes -undo/redo -loop-de-loop for roads -testing markers (when you press a button in test mode it leaves a red rock where you pressed in the editor) -water blocks ie; puddles, water terrain block, waterfall effects, pipe deco -split for multi-wide roads -trampoline (reverses directional force when hit) -landing pad (negates directional force when hit) -option to disable colisions in local multiplayer -option to enable respawning in local multiplayer -reverse view ring (like first person ring but makes you look behind you) -effects (smoke, electricity, fire, water, etc.) -flags -spikes (destroys zeepkist on contact) -small funnels

Great to see Yannic back, he's such a relaxed guy! For building purposes, it would be very useful to have a player trail option that shows ghosts of your car over time once you pause a test drive. For reference, this effect is used in some other games that support custom levels such as Super Mario Maker.

Reference 10:00. It may be much easier to use a grouping system like AoE and most RTS games. You assign selected items to a group with Ctrl(1-9) and then to select that group of items you just click that number.

I love watching you guys play zeepkist. The main thing I would enjoy about this game is the track building. I don't own the game myself because I think I'm terrible at racing games. It's not that I think bad at driving well at least when there is more control and less speed lol.

Hey there's only one way to get better at racing games. When I first started playing Forza I bought it just for drift cars and I was horrible at drifting but got a lot better.. haven't played in years bc I don't own a console anymore and own a gaming tower now so I haven't drifted in years now lol

I've got two ideas I'd like to suggest to you guys for map making... Idea 1 - make a plain track for all three of you guys to use, the catch being you all create different obstacles for the same track creating a unique experience for the same track, so to speak. Idea 2 - each of you make a short track in 10-15 minutes (or a time frame of your choosing) then you somehow combine the 3 different tracks to be sections of 1 big track rather than individual tracks. You could also each make 3 short tracks then randomly select 1 of the 3 to go into track 1, another for track 2 and the last for track 3. This way each channel can show case 1 of the 3 mash up tracks. People would also have to watch all 3 if they wanted to see how each of your short tracks combine with the others. Ideally you want your track to be easy for you but hard for the others so it becomes tricky when they are combined into the big track. Anyways those are my ideas I hope you see them and think about it. I'd love to see you try them out, who knows I recently got the game maybe I'll see you on the tracks! Keep doing what you're doing you guys are awesome!

Hey, great video! This update is pretty wild. Would be cool to see the new uses of the fans. There definitely needs to be a fix for the motion sickness. Not a good way to end a race.

How would you handle selecting objects that are behind others without also selecting objects that are super far away? Would it be easier to just make selection a two-step process where you draw a 2d rectangle and then extrude to the depth you want?

If your car is to the side; arms up kinda only applies a force to become straight, aka. Roll force. If your car starts rolling to one side you then can arm up to roll past straight and flip it

This is basically like scrapman with trailmakers. Scrapman is the only youtuber to have played the game consistently for the last 3ish years.( He didn't play it for a while before that ) Most of the people who play the game now ( obviously not all of course) play because of his channel. Kan's seemingly doing the same for zeepkist , albeit with help from dapper and kosmo .

@kAN Gaming, I have something for you! The Dev said, that the vents don´t care how fast you are. They just force. So what if you make a track with a little gap like this -----____. And in the gap you put a vent in forward direction with max force and range. So you would have a "special booster" without the 200 cap. (I think it´ll work.) I would try it by myself, but I don´t have the game yet. (Sry for bad grammar.)

5 force on the small fan makes you straight; But if you raise your arms you can kinda climb a bit. The main problem is at the exit your car will nose down. Also for some reason the big fans are a tinny bit weaker I only managed to get the effect on the small ones. (Map is "Learn to fly" if you wish to take a look at the concept)

Can do you think in the creator mode could have a auto-connect? like you rotate a block in 30° up and its going to hard to plance another one in front of it, so it auto connects in the position and rotation.
