Nice fab work .I like you’re on the fly problem solving. I can relate . The plumber in me says you need more pitch only that pipe but , The gear head says it’s perfect …

When I was a teenager I found a good deal on a 73 Mustang convertible and had to have it. Family said no its rusty... Body, top, interior, paint, drive train was amazing so I bought it anyways, $800 in the mid 90's. The front frame rails were roasted but fortunately my neighbor was a dirt track guy and got me a good deal on a track car front half off his friends wrecked car that we installed. A mustang with zero race gar or go fast parts with the stock 351 running around with an all tubed front clip tied in all the way to the front of the rear leaf pockets and a roll bar has got to confuse the shit out of whoever the current owner is lol. My brother used to call it the Mock 1.

Check for drive shaft clearance. Looks like the shaft will hit that cross member.
@SniderTron300013 күн бұрын
I've been thinking about that a lot. I think it should be good 🤞 I thought about flipping the crossmember upside down

@SniderTron3000 i was thinking the hoop went up. But honestly I've never installed anything like that. Good luck, can't wait till the 55 is rolling down the road.

70% of the welding is good enough to drop her down and go do a burnout, finish welding it later

Dude seeing you out there in that cold “garage” makes me glad I got one with a heater now!! Why not invest in a quality heater since oh IDK you live in a primarily cold climate
@SniderTron300013 күн бұрын
I have a radiant tube heater. Just haven't gotten around to installing it yet. The salamander heater I have works really well. It's 175k btu. But it's just loud as fuck so I have to turn it off when I turn the camera on. I was in a shirt and hoody for most of this lol so it wasn't too bad
