Finally someone who admits the cnc is a modern woodworking machine. I use mine to cut all the parts for my outdoor chairs and more. It’s more repeatable and accurate. Love your work!

Great job! Nice to see that people are finally accepting new technology...

Definitely! I still think CNC work can be considered "handmade".

@@CorbinDunn Many say that it is not woodworking. If you ask me, sometimes you need to know more about wood and it's behavior to be able to machine it, you need to be more of a woodworker than a woodworker.

I absolutely love it! I'm a major fan of cherry, and it fits your design perfectly. Another home run!

Thanks Mark! Cherry is one of my favorites woods.

Thanks! Yeah, I kept calling myself a "CNC Woodworker" and then I realized that I'm just a "Modern Woodworker"!

I enjoy seeing your combination of form and function with the CNC work. There must be so many hours spent on the computer in Fusion 360. Watching it in your videos thru the magic of the camera it's just a few minutes. SO much behind the scenes. Nice Idea for the vertical work on the dove tails. will give it a try. Thank you for shares these ideas..

Thanks! Yes, I did spent countless hours designing and iterating before settling on this shape. I started shape exploration in Rhino before moving into Fusion for the final design. I'm thinking about breaking out the dovetail section into it's own more detailed video; I've learned a lot about it on the past few projects.

The Dovetail video section would be a must see for me. Thank you for considering it. There are addins for Fusion to work this out but I think I would prefer to understand your process and be able to adapt to my projects. cheers!

By the way, That Mirror panel with Smooth Curves carved on its frame looks so cool, is there a video on that craft? Again....! Please make more such Creative and useful Woodworking projects with Fusion+CNC Combination..! You are the best teacher for my CNC+Fusion+Wood Working Career I have yet to begin..!

Yeah! The mirror video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qJDaaYVtiNdoaaM Designed in Rhino/Grasshopper, but machined with Fusion. Thanks for the push to make more videos..I'll keep it up!

I think for the doors, I would have just made the maple strips as inlays, rather than all the way through. Would have saved the hassle of the glue up, and nobody really cares what the back side of the door looks like!
@CorbinDunnКүн бұрын
Yeah, that's a good point! I thought about doing a regular shallow inlay, but for some reason I was set on giving this a try. I think if I do it again I'll just do an inlay.
