I love it! Where I live I need to build an insulated one so everything doesn't freeze and would also cover a 6000 gal cistern. I love this design over everything I've seen.

Thanks!! I actually searched online for over a year trying to find something I liked that I could build & I found that it didn’t exist. Lol. So I took this design from a playhouse. Thankfully I don’t have to worry about pipes freezing here in Florida!

You should not have built the structure over the well casing because someday when the well pump wears out and has to be replaced you can't pull the pipe out to get to the pump. Your siding will rot with ground contact. You could have put concrete blocks on the bottom then put the siding on the blocks. I like how you made the door with the siding and put the hinge on the outside on a 2x4.

looks great! i'll be doing the same for my old well after i get it replumbed. My only concern about your siding is that its too close to the ground. Also for the future its helps a lot to paint all cut edges and back edges of your LP siding to protect it from water. Wonderful job overall. Can you please do a video on how your well equipment are maintained and how they function?

Looks Great. I have almost the same well setup and need to put a shelter over it. May I ask how thick the siding is? My new well isn't liking the central florida sun either.

This turned out very nice. Are you going to move the tree that is right up against it? I think the tree will have to be moved to avoid problems of it growing in to the structure.

questions - can this be removed in case they need to work on the pump? Did you need a permit to begin?
@robertdeems664617 күн бұрын
I dont see any reason this shed would need to be removable, unless your lazy and dont do general maintenance and cleaning of your belongings. Thats just foolish. Chances are if you need to get a machine near your well, you have larger problems then a 2000$ shed. If you have a water well you probably live outside the city . If you get permit the inspector will probably just look at post hole depth and leave. But this is oy my opinion, I enjoyed your video and the creativity you brought to your project. If you spend 30k$ on a hole in the ground, why not build something pretty around your investment to protect it a little longer and it doesn't need to be some monument..get up, get it done, and move on, there's always more that needs done.. I say great job on you. Dont listen to foolish or negative comments.. That is my thinking
