It’s so special that you get to do these projects with your father. You will have these memories forever.😊

Mom is like your dad, and I have slowly made her say more, like the time she admitted it WAS nice to have me visit and stay for longer periods 😂 A lot of people our age don't spend that much time with their parents, but those of us who have only one left knows to take what time we got!

LOL! Just a different generation, I suppose! Like, obviously he enjoys this or else he probably wouldn't be hanging around my house so much but sometimes ya just wanna hear it. Exactly. When I see comments that are like enjoy the time with him, don't take it for granted, etc - I KNOOOOOW. I am painfully aware how special this time is.

@@kaylahstroup Definitely partly a generational thing haha! And yes, sometimes we just want to hear it! So I'm softening her up a bit 😂 Yeah we know, and how lucky are we still

I LOVE ❤️ watching this video with you & your dad making the wine rack! What I’d give to have time with my dad to work on projects! Unfortunately my dad wasn’t a man with these type of skills. Enjoy your time spent with dad & the memories you’re creating!!! Keep up the great work & memories! Thanks 🙏 for sharing video!!!

Gosh, we don’t have that much wine! 😅 I mean, believe me, it’s been discussed!!! Jeff has brought it up a couple of times. Perhaps once the main parts of the house are done I’ll want to tackle some not really necessary projects like that!

Omg your dad is such a dad 😂 power tools with cigar hanging out the mouth. And yes it would be cooler if Dads would give lovey dovey words but I guess sometimes we take what we can get. Having several dads, all of whom were terrible, I would definitely take one who gave at least this much. 💜

It's a very attractive wine rack, perfect for that spot. My OCD, would separate the wine into the sections by type, red, white, etc. I like that the liquor area is on the next shelf above, makes a nice bar area. Could also have a section for bar/wine glasses, plenty of room. That cupboard/drawer/storage area is such a wonderful part of your house, I'm so jealous, in a good way! Wish you would have shared the entire renovations of the kitchen, it's such a wonderful room. And...all the circle discs cut outs, come up with something to use them for, maybe some sort of wall art or mobile.

This comment took me waaaay too long to decipher. LOL. I'd never heard of holo taco (but woweeee good colors!!!) I think that was just a Sally Hansen green.

You just rewired my entire brain by saying "it's not that I'm not good at math, I'm just not quick at math" because - holy shit. I may just be slow at math and not bad at math 🤯 this feels like that one time that physical therapist asked me which one is my "good hand" and which one is my "very good hand" instead of calling them a good and a bad hand just because one of them is dominant. It really has changed the way I think about myself

Girl, it IS special to do those projects with your dad and it's not something to take lightly, and I can see you don't . My dad used to do all that stuff and taught us when we were kids and as adults. He is 86 now and has slight dementia. My mom taught us how to cook and sew, grandma taught us ceramics and my aunt taught calligraphy and painting! I love that I have those skills and those special memories. Rock on! Enjoy it all Sweets! Its all so special :)
