Stable Build Company brings you a lifetime of experience in the timber building industry. Horse stables and field shelters are the main focus of the business.
In this video I will introduce you to the process I am going through when delivering orders to the customers.
The task begins with the bunch of timber slowly converted into panels and assembled on the customer's site. No major ground preparation required, though, as long as it is relatively flat.
The standard specification for the building as follows: 3" x 2" CLS framing with 16mm tongue and groove or rebate shiplap (subject to availability), 4" x 2" roof purlins covered with 12mm thick Oriented Strand Board and covered in Onduline roofing sheets. The inside of the building is wrapped in a 12 mm thick oriented strand board to the height of 4 ft or 1.22 meters.
I am based in Worcestershire county England, UK, and Deliver and install buildings in neighboring counties of Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire.
To further educate yourself about my business you can visit my website www.stablebuildcompany.co.uk where also you can fill out a contact form with your requirements or use an Instant Quote for standard spec buildings.

...and I would have preferred if they had added a "balcony" because horses need a lot of fresh air and the possibility of moving around.

Idk it's been a year since your comment but... It really depends I usually see buildings like this ranging to buy from 3-6k in my area but with lumber costs inflating it may be a lot more now.

As timber price has gone through the roof now this will be an expensive build. I go a quote for a single stall stable smaller than this in Ireland for €11,000😅 hopeful to build similar to this for approx 4k

What about the foundations though? It's just sitting on chips? It is in danger of sinking into low areas over time. Good job with the rest though.

Temporary, movable buildings is the cost saving option on one side, and also will eleminate unnecessary questions from the area governing bodies.

Johnson Johnson if you really want to learn something like professionally then take a adult carpentry course at a trade college but if you just want to learn it for your own projects then find a carpenter who’s willing to teach you the basics and the rest is working it out by your self

Well, you obviously have no idea of horses. Stall doors are to be at right end of stall front with left side hung hinges for doors to swing open with handlers left hand. Horses are led and mounted from left. Handler opens door with left hand, steps into open stall, leading horse on right into stall with wall on his right. If horse bolts handler is safe out of the way. Doors down an aisle will be on opposite ends of stalls eliminating danger entering or leaving stalls.

Thank you for the insights. I do work closely with the customers to establish the conditions of the ground, opening positioning, placement of the hinges etc. And knowledge of the equine welfare does not reflected in this video.

There is TONS of empirical evidence that barns are bad for horses, who were never meant to live indoors. Before you spend a lot of money on a barn for yourself, do what's best for your animals, which need basic shelter and 24/7 turnout. . . read a book!

In a pasture 24/7 might cause injuries or escape also a barn is a shelter for horses if your not smart enough to know that :) Horses need shelter too!
