Hey, don't be so hard on yourself. You did an awesome job on that trailer. I would be proud to have that behind my truck. The only thing I would add would be more tie downs as I have found there is never enough of them. Maybe use over-the-tire straps, and tie downs spaced out on each side. Thanks for the great build.

Trailer we had at my last job, we hauled scissor lifts, and our mini ex. Had the 2x8 wood floor and individual spring loaded ramps. We got under ours and ran all the wiring in conduit. It helped with snatching the wiring loose if we snagged them on something on the job. Beautiful trailer you got there!

My trailer has marker lights wired on the front of the fenders so you can see the sides of it when your pulling at night in the mirrors. Just a suggestion. Looks good!

Holy shit man, don't sell yourself short that's a amazing job especially doing it in your driveway! The only thing I would have added is 2 strips of non skid paint or maybe expended metal where the tires of the cars would go but I think it's awesome! I was thinking of building something similar and I thought perhaps I would need a drop style axle but you made it really nice with a straight axle.

Well it could be profitable if you can get the parts cheap enough. Only way to get parts cheap enough I've found is to buy in large quantities.
@danburch99896 жыл бұрын
As another trailer builder points out, there's liability issues when you build and sell things in today's sue-happy, lottery seeking consumer. Each car that's sold probably has a $1,000 price tag added to cover lawsuits. But in any case, ALLMUSCLE gets an A+ for his build. Gotta be proud.

Sell this one for a few thousand, you should get that for it, take what you learned from this one, then build the next one incorporating all the design changes you came to realize from building this one to make the next one perfect. Incidentally, I like the color. Make the next one a bit darker blue. Overall, it's a good looking trailer. Great job for your first time out. I was told that when it's properly loaded, 1/4 of the weight of the load should be on the tow vehicle.
@Cake415793 жыл бұрын
I’m sure you might know by now. If you extend the front a frame to extend down the sides to the front of the axles, it gives a much stronger trailer.
