I've been tracking all kinds of tiny homes but especially steel wall tiny homes and most especially container homes. You folks are the best! So excited about this project! More interested in Wyoming than Florida but truly believe that once you have this up and running, and the combined livability and weather readiness of your design is proven large, there will be a stampede of investors wanting to make the same thing happen on other acreages all around the country. Keep posting and I'll keep watching and sharing and looking for the day I can see this happening locally. 😊

I'm interested. Will be looking at your site further. The Wyoming project is closer to 'home'. Florida is equally of interest however. Finally, is there a chance you'll be able to sell (add or option) a 1-4 acre (serviced) lot that will be able to provide service and a 'home base' container as well as a hook-up for an RV? Yeah we actually had to raise the money to create our own mortgages that we can in house finance, then sell those mortgages as a package to a bank to service

Hello, I just want to ask a question we are in Okeechobee Florida you have the shipping Container homes because I am trying to purchase a land and to build shipping Container homes but the county said that shipping containers are not allowed so I just wanted to know where in Okeechobee you have the shipping containers

We are currently still working with Okeechobee to move the project along, it has been a difficult process. Once we get our final state certification it ought to help move things along quickly! Working with the state and then local governments has been a challenge, it all depends on how willing they are to work with "alternative" housing types. We are continuing to push this and similar initiatives all over the country!

So interesting! As a Realtor I was JUST asking in a class last week what EXACTLY can be done about affordable housing issues other than zoning all our land as multifamily. I recently stayed in a apartment airbnb in Dallas and it's an awful way to live with animals or kids. This is a very interesting idea for us in Oklahoma since land is still affordable.The only issue I see is financing. I assume you have a plan in place for financing? I'm following!

There is an entire subdivision that has been abandoned in Concho, Arizona that would be perfect for a container community. Electric grid and roads all layed out and then the investors just ran off. Hundreds of empty lots just sitting for years now.

Hey! Well to buy a unit on the land it’s going to be about 125k… but to buy in as an investor for this community or one of our others it ranges from 250k+ only due to the fact we Dont want to have too many hands in the kitchen :)

Yeah but those are long and narrow just like a motor home. For under $20,000 or under $15,000... They make EXPANDABLE shipping container houses that are that length... but fold out to be three times that width. Haven't you ever heard of FOLDING expandable shipping container homes?

@@lesheath6216 Every year around Nov I can tell that the seasons change as someone from somewhere else doesn't see me and pulls right in front of my TRUCK. I have some crazy stories but none can top my brothers. He was eating at a local restaurant. The table right in their front window where they sit the attractive couple was thankfully empty. A car came through the window, took out the table, reversed, came back in and smashed what was left of it. The driver was 91 and not from these parts. . . Only people that are not from here, or have watched way to much TV, worry about gators, snakes and sharks!
