Building an Epic IKEA Desk Streaming Setup!

I got a 39 inch version of this table top from Home Depot, kitchen island butcher block, let me put 4 legs in the back staggered, and then use the front drawers for only support the front of the table! Instead of another table touching the cabinets, I slid it thru the staggered legs in the back of the desk!! Works GREAT and I LOVE having a 39 inch deep desk!! I did the 2inch upside down legs on my cabinets, 4 on each cabinet!! LOVE IT!! Inspired by your previous IKEA desk build!!!!

Its a alt setup seems cluttered tho and excessive led but over all its good, tho it hurts that you don't have a middle desk leg because it prevents warping from desk but since its be held by those desk extenders its gonna warp fast and it'll be noticeable over time

I was just looking at Ikea desk setups, so this was good timing for me, though I'll probably go with a less expensive countertop and the Minke drawers just for budget sake and to try your false wall idea for the cables! Love the videos!

For the G502 you're not supposed to put the weights under the puck. You can open the middle section on the bottom

We've been considering shifting our content creation to include Livestreams for legal analysis and commentary, but I don't know if there's a market for it or if I need to invest in this equipment first.

There's definitely a market for it but you'll have to make it entertaining. Especially entertaining video content with analysis of popular cases (like the Depp case) & then do livestreams for the real fans who wanna see a more chill/personal side of whoever does the analysis to build the community. Like watching/commenting live on the Depp case in this example, or just talking with viewers about a specific case, letting them ask questions, etc. In terms of equipment, the only thing you need is a decent microphone and webcam/camera. The camera will be the most expensive part but if you're serious about content creation (and especially videos) you will need it. The camera from this video would be perfect if the budget allows for it (it's in the description): kzbin.info/www/bejne/b3ibo4SseZmEf9E The Elgato Facecam Pro is a mid-tier option & something like a Logitech C920 is a budget option but for KZbin that absolutely won't cut it. @@TheVideoNerd We've been filming our normal content (shorts/long-form) with a Sony a7iv, but I think I need a more open desk to set up monitors and microphones. I think you're spot on with the content and following popular court cases. I think KZbin needs to hurry with their Go Live Together feature for desktop so the community can collaborate more effectively.

If the countertop is 74 inches, and each alex drawer is 14 inches wide, how would a 40 inch linnmon be long enough to use as a false wall? I plan on doing this exact same desk setup and i want to use a linnmon but im worried it wont be long enough to cover the entire back as a way to cover the cables.

Haha funny, I use former bed risers for my monitor stand haha. But ... late last year I bought a monitorarm for my 29 inch UltraWide and 27 inch monitor. The monitorstand is still there, all my producer gear is below/on top of it.
