Its a alt setup seems cluttered tho and excessive led but over all its good, tho it hurts that you don't have a middle desk leg because it prevents warping from desk but since its be held by those desk extenders its gonna warp fast and it'll be noticeable over time

I got a 39 inch version of this table top from Home Depot, kitchen island butcher block, let me put 4 legs in the back staggered, and then use the front drawers for only support the front of the table! Instead of another table touching the cabinets, I slid it thru the staggered legs in the back of the desk!! Works GREAT and I LOVE having a 39 inch deep desk!! I did the 2inch upside down legs on my cabinets, 4 on each cabinet!! LOVE IT!! Inspired by your previous IKEA desk build!!!!

We've been considering shifting our content creation to include Livestreams for legal analysis and commentary, but I don't know if there's a market for it or if I need to invest in this equipment first.

There's definitely a market for it but you'll have to make it entertaining. Especially entertaining video content with analysis of popular cases (like the Depp case) & then do livestreams for the real fans who wanna see a more chill/personal side of whoever does the analysis to build the community. Like watching/commenting live on the Depp case in this example, or just talking with viewers about a specific case, letting them ask questions, etc. In terms of equipment, the only thing you need is a decent microphone and webcam/camera. The camera will be the most expensive part but if you're serious about content creation (and especially videos) you will need it. The camera from this video would be perfect if the budget allows for it (it's in the description): kzbin.info/www/bejne/b3ibo4SseZmEf9E The Elgato Facecam Pro is a mid-tier option & something like a Logitech C920 is a budget option but for KZbin that absolutely won't cut it. I think you're spot on with the content and following popular court cases. I think KZbin needs to hurry with their Go Live Together feature for desktop so the community can collaborate more effectively.

great video.. but I dont understand everyone using the IKEA ALEX drawer units. I used them and I am very disappointed with the quality. there are better units to use. MICKE units are far better build quality. also for the height with the metal legs you used. there are different height Alex units that would have wheels on them. they would be shorter and make the height of the desk be lower. same with the micke Granted this is My opinion only.

If the countertop is 74 inches, and each alex drawer is 14 inches wide, how would a 40 inch linnmon be long enough to use as a false wall? This is why streamers will never know much about real video or audio production, these companies are marketing the wrong products to people. None of this equipment is professional level, it is all simple imitations of nice stuff other than the PC, maybe. All of this "pro gear" you think you are buying is simply consumer level tech upgraded just enough to look nicer but it will still be easier to use and not have to do as much fiddling to get nice results out of box. A Razer webcam, my guy... are you actually a streamer or just fucking with us because now I can't tell? Why did you pay $120, the price of the superior Logitech Brio 4k to get a 1080p60 webcam with no light any more...? Razer is generally just such garbage for the price. Logitech would have been nice but have you even looked into the webcam market on Amazon? There are brands doing real smartphone / DSLR imaging with a real Sony video chip in a package similar to yours. Some of these webcams can get anywhere up to 5k-8k resolution and they are barely any more money than the piece of junk Razer. Next thing is the keyboard. HyperX may be a good brand but really you want a keyboard that is gasket mounted with a top plate. This has floating keys and those are generally not the best for a heavy use scenario even if people like them for some reasons like aesthetics, the switches being exposed to the air is not great. I recommend looking in to what you really want from a keyboard and then looking up which brand does things that can deliver that. More than likely, you will land on a custom built keyboard as the high end polling rate and refresh specs on gaming keyboards hardly make a difference. I would recommend something like the Epomaker TH80X. Perfect first custom prebuilt, great color scheme, good internals, triple mode, LED display, and no heavy software. Last couple things I wanted to mention, the headphones and mic. Sony can make some OK headphones but I would avoid wireless audio at all costs. Bluetooth will be the source of many issues in an audio setup. There are also much better brands for the same price like Sennheiser, AKG, and Audio Technica. The mic you got is also mostly a toy. Do not buy microphones that are advertised to gamers, period. That thing probably sounds the same as a Blue Yeti or maybe an AT2020. There is very little point in trying out all of these things in the same price tier to as they will never be as nice as you are hoping for. For audio, even some streamers now are choosing to use either a mixer or USB audio interface to plug a pro XLR mic into. The XLR version of mics sound better than their USB counterparts by far because of the relatively incredible abilities of a real audio interface compared to one essentially built into the mic like you need with USB microphones. I hope I don't come off as just shitting on you and everyone needs to start somewhere. I am just trying to point out what could use improvement if you plan on being a pro streamer. There are MANY routes you could go down from pro DSLR webcam video to pro rack mount 32 bit HIFI audio and mics and even more to get into using your PC. Good luck in the future
