Hey Dave, you should look into the air valve on your aeg framer as they need to be topped up with an air compressor occasionally. It is mentioned in the manual along with how to find the air valve. Usually when it starts to lose some power, it just means it needs a top up. Love the videos keep it up mate! Chasing my apprenticeship in WA and inspired by your vids.

I need to mention the cement sheet for others watching. (Many reno in Australia without knowing the dangers and then freak out) House looks at an age where it probably didn't have asbestos, but you treat it the same because silicosis is no better. The hikoki is easy to fix the magazine slide. Just need some cleaning spray and silicone spray. The non branded nails seem to clog it faster. Also you can play around with the spring tension on the hikoki. Seems that Milwaukee have been looking at what everyone else is doing and there new 165mm looks like a good copy of the another brands long time saw and there new 174mm which is about to be released in USA looks an absolute weapon with a forge battery, also less weight and bulk I believe.
@locominyana89162 ай бұрын
Those hikoki framers suck. They're too bulky, & they don't skewer because the firing pins are too small hence they don't recoil. Well, not in my experience with them anyway.

Next time your Aeg leaves the nails proud in the LVL try changing to a fresh different battery and remove the nails from slide and put them back in to make sure they are aligned correctly and tight. Curious if this would make a difference.

Why do they look along the wall studs before putting them down and laying out the wall on the ground? are they checking if they are straight? and do you throw them out if they are not straight? Thanks!
@poz48604 ай бұрын
They’re ‘crowning’ the studs. All studs will have a natural curve to them, so putting the bows all the same way makes it easier to straighten later and end up with better results 🙂
