Just a tip, but the boosters were changed to now bring the pressure up to what the pump has, so put them directly behind the machines for maximum power Edit: for clarification, that means that, if the pump outputs at 100% pressure, it doesn't matter if the water went through 3 or 30 pipes, the booster at the end would bring the pressure back up to 100%

If you're talking about the Pressure tank, that you put the power shards in, than yeah you're correct. But the game has intake boosters that only go directly on intake pipes. These boosters are craftable in Icehelm

Drae when you trouble with placing pipes you should try: A: remove more dirt B: restart the game C: replace the sorrounding pipes and etc the game is a bit buggy when placing stuff

I had a same problem and it seems that sometimes explosions/mining leaves some invisible dirt - place shovel of dirt and pickaxe it away again worked for me.

There's a mod called "Build Anywhere" that helps. Sometimes little pieces of dirt stays floating into space and ends up blocking the building on the tile

The developer has definitely taken in account your troubles with the conveyor belts, much better system and should be less laggy as they're not physics objects on conveyors anymore!

Some tips: When you can't place buildings (in your case pipe), try clearing more dirt, check for chunks, dropped items. try reloading saves or even restarting the game (reloading the save fixes unbelievable amounts of problems). You can place 2 drills next to each other, and also sorters. Grinding (dirt, you can't grind ore) nuggets don't really help as it just creates more nuggets which as you already know, causes lag. I assume the booster thinks there is something in front of it and therefore doesn't allow you to trigger the opening, try clearing dirt, etc. (same as placement solutions). And because of this *I highly advise not putting buildings underground*, especially the smelter! Tip for the stock market, the number shown is the percentage of the normal price that the market is buying for, if that number is below 100 just sell at a jeweler as he always pays exactly 100%. Oh and the gold stock market is at the Icehelm entrance. 2.0 also changed the bossters, it no longer boost the pressure by 50%, instead it boosts it up to the intake percentage (which is 100% with a forged iron pipe with no intake boosters) so putting those 2 boosters that close to the intake is literally useless as it only boosts it by 6% (loss of pressure along 2 pipes) Oh and I'm just trying to help :)

@@SiddharthGupta-kx6zt a bit late but no, max completely removed it. I'm not entirely sure why but I'm guessing it's because it removing dirt meant that it couldn't be automated (would have to move it), then he tried the device that places dirt, it only caused more issue and the previous issue just moved (you had to refill each individually with shards), so he added power which didn't fit at all, it was confusing for everyone and didn't even work half of the time, so he just replaced the Goliath drill with the drill T2 fixing all of the previous issues by removing the need for them.

Engineering tip: remember pipes travelling down the drill line can circle around and come back as conveyor belt line leading to refining line. Extra note the digable area goes around the non-digable area to the other side by the item drop

it's (probably, imho) better to build your system "end to start"... and keep some vertical space for hoppers and such (which you solved with the vertical conveyors), but good job figuring out the "best" (imho) system, where you "filter out" the 4 resources (gold, iron, clout., shards) and have the gems at the end - all you need now is the gem compressor (requires pipes!)

I've encountered the bugged pressure tank too. Whilst it won't open, you can still put stuff in it, since you can just drop it through the bugged hatch on the pressure tank.

Drae the dynamite that you were using is probably the one that was added to get rid of items on the ground not the ground itself

The preassure tanks restore the original pressure in the pipes that follow it downstream. To maximize their utility, place them where ever the pressure dropped too far to be efficient. Placing them on the intakes does not benefit you at all. Since it is just money for the pipes, buy cloutium intakes and pipes as soon as you can. The productivity gets insane once you make 4 cloutium intake boosters. I'm talking about mph.... millions per hour :-D

Maybe for convenience's sake (and once Drae has more Hydro and space to spare), all of the sorting, centering, and mining components could be hidden inside of the mining area. That way, only the cauldrons would stick out, and Drae doesn't have to jump over everything just to get a new bar of gold

hey, 2 things i found out, u can define the distance where u build with the mouse wheel and 2 drills equals the life time (time it needs to be repaired) with one grinder, otherwhise u loose a lot of material last thing, the things, where you can put ur crystals in, would be more efficent right in front of the drills, because they set the water presure to the intake pressure

btw just a tip when first starting if you put the dirt into the small bucket then dump it into the large pan you can hold up to four shovels worth of dirt in the small bucket and save you a bit more time when starting out. this method also lets you keep the large pan iin the river and just dump the dirt directly into the pan and it will instantly refill after you scrub it

1-Drae you don't need to unload the cart, you can send it down/up. A little finnicky but you would rather spend a little time to send the cart rather than unloading and carrying one by one. 2-Grinder on belt is pretty much useless, also you can stack Centralizer,Polisher and probably Grinder on samebelt (didn't try grinder one but stacks probably) 3-Much more preferable having 1 block free fall for ore/dirt without funnels to prevent clogging. Maybe not with 2 drills but but with more. 4- Pressure booster things now reset pressure at the place of build. 5-First upgrades must be harvester T2, Intake T2, 4 intake booster T2 then connect pressure booster directly to harvester, this is especially useful when you need 100 pipes leading to harvester. Max pressure then reset to (180 for T1) and (??? for T2). 6-Clear the dirt in and around the building grid block to place pipes for it is buggy. And when you clear all the dirt sometimes you can't place drills at all. 7-I use one cart per item type to categorize and stack them. 8-Some issues are resolved reloading the save and create manual backup as you probably already do. 9-With that much money, just upgrade the pipes. 10-You want to get Gem Compressor as soon as possible, you would regret it otherwise. (Lag reasons), Even compressing huge amounts freeze my pc long time.

A great new QoL feature, under sound settings, there are now sound controls for explosions and water droplets. If that water sound drives you nuts, you can turn it off and still have the rest of the sounds.

I can tell that this is before the update that allowed the drill to be placed side by side. And sometimes if you cant place certain things in certain locations, you might need to save and reload.

Also, the straighten attachments are kind of extra where you have them because the sorter conveyers automatically center the resources.

In regards to issues with the drills next to each other. It works building from left to right but not right to left. Not sure why; just how it is. Sorry if you find this out sometime during the part of the video I haven’t finished yet.

You need the smelters.. a hell of a save on your system. Otherwise you just lag when everything go into a pale. Grab your gold bars.. sell them and then go and buy the smelters.. Makes like so much easier ;) Also the chambers won't work for me there too. Once you get the other pipes. you don't need them chambers.. there's a pressure reader in that store there.. place it on a pipe just after the drills. You will see where you're at. I'm 202 pressures on tier 2 pipes.

oh i also had the bug with the boosters before usually if you save and exit then go back into the game it starts working again, ive also had the same problem with the gem compressor, and i know it says logic gem compressor but you can work it manually it is worth buying it because it combinds all your gems making them worth more when you make your jewlery

Note to the devs: (This may be just due to KZbin's video compression and bitrate, but if not, the Depth of field transition time needs to be increased, because it's quite jarring. I don't get motion sick form anything, and there was a couple times I had to look away, cuz it was making me feel weird(don't know the word for it). At 5:32 You was one of those moments.

pro tip Drae! get teh cloutium harvester asap! the forged iron harvester clogs constantly and only the cloutium harvester got the clogging fixed.

The rake does wonders to take away blocks worth of dirt at a time. Just hit it with pickaxe and ripple top layer. Then use rake(make sure arrow is pointing down) and it will delete a whole block of dirt

From what I have seen you can place the thing that centers the the things on the frist one and it will go to all the other ones so that way you don't have to have all the extra conveter belts

You can load that whole cart onto the giant icehelm conveyor. It takes some trial and error and a bit of wiggling but it works lol.

Make sure you add funnels and metal plates as back stops for the grinders on the higher levels so they don’t just spit the ore out and overshoot the conveyors

the problem with the "red zones" you mentioned happened to me too. solution should be that in the "block" you try to place the pipe or anything really, there shall be no dirt, otherwise the game thinks that it is occupied and shows red. TLDR Redzones have dirt occupying them, clear it out

if you use the pickaxe to mine the top of a "block" you can use the rake to dig out quite a lot if you get efficient.

For the broken booster: I don't know why but saving and reloading (just save to menu and back) will fix things like that. Once it works it usually doesn't break again.

use rake to make ground even to spot where you can build flat. you have to lower ground with it then bring it back up to be proper height.

Those bugs with harvester and pipes should be fixed in v2.0.3 had the same problems with it and also some of the items can be lost and bug out in to the ground had to dig them out with pickaxe.... The same problems has the hand sorter with items being stuck in the outputs For the pipes to work properly just use a choterium intake from a store bought and you should get 250 psi water that helps with issues from the last updates.... I still have to figure out myselfe how those pressure pipes work with the shard bar Also i would recommend to take funnels and auto smelter it will help preventing items to spit around (let's game it out had broken the game again in that regards)

Not sure if anyone said it but if there is any dirt in the way when connecting pipes they will show as red. I just grab my pickax and clear it out a bit. Should help you out.
