Okay a few things: Those pipe boosters dont do you much if you put them there. They belong as close to the machines as possible, because they "reset" the pipe pressure to the origin in the pipes following the booster. The crusher hook on that conveyor does absolutely nothing, cus those things make dirt clumbs smaller, not resource clumbs. Also why do you want to seperate the gems? Just let them drop into the gem compressor and compress them ocassionally, this will reduce the lag. All four gem types can go into the same compressor and can be compressed without getting destoyed, unlike putting a different metal into a couldron filled with another metal.

@@patrykk63 Thats why i put my drills along the back border of T1 dirt, so that I have the most yield, also theres much more room for drills alongside than perpendicular. I was able to place 48 drills that way, and thats not even going vertical. A second story of drills would just kill the FPS to unplayable degrees.

You should get the gem compressor for the end of your line, so it compresses all the same gems into one big one!

The rake is good but it is such a pain, because lowering or raising the ground is based on your aim. I wish it were toggled.

That grinder is useless, it's only for dirt chunks to make them smaller, a centralizer is all you need. As well why don't you just pick up a gem compressor from the main store and put it at the end of the conveyor system, it works now with belts leading right into it, no need to collect all the gems in a bucket then

Okay so why keep using the tier 1 pipes when you can just start using the tier 2 for extra water power? Also the T2 anvil machines require iron and cloudium, that’s why there are two sets of numbers. And I believe the reason you were having trouble placing the second tiers of drills is that they were colliding with the lower ones

Do T1 machines work with T2 pipes? When I tried to mix and match they caused leaks. I think the color of the pipe on the machine determines up to what tier of pipe It can be used with.

Hello Drae, I'm not sure if someone else mentioned this but the crusher doesn't do anything for refined dirt. The crusher breaks down dirt chunks. You want to put the centering device there to put everything in a nice line.

Hey drae, so if you hold the pick up key when holding an item, it will move out in front of you allowing you to place it on the back of the truck ( or anywhere for that matter ) Hope this helps as much as you’ve helped me

Harvester can handle as much as you toss at it so no worries there. I have 128 drills feeding dirt into a singular harvester and no issues with keeping up at all. Did have to resort to old school Hydroneer tactics with boxing in things with glass windows though because left/right belts were flinging dirt randomly overboard at max pressure. But aside from that, easily the cleanest build I've done in this game. I no longer find random ore and dirt everywhere eating frames over time. Max did a pretty stellar job cleaning up the random entity vomit, I must say.

Drae, why not use a Gem Compactor so you can intermittently compact the gems and save your frames? Idk if they are worth more, but it still would be a good QOL for lag.

I have to say that Matt, the developer, has come a long way with this game. He has refined his low poly modeling into a unique style that's fun to watch and work with. His most impressive trait is his dedication to making this game work, which takes quite a lot more work than just throwing a character and some objects into the virtual environment of Unity and hoping Unity knows what to do with all of it. Howdy boss man, I did some testing myself and found that with the no building restriction mod you can not only put the drills 2 above as opposed to the original 3 but also 1 and even inside of each other. So I made an array of T1 Drills 7long by 4 high by 1 deep, put up a wall of windows so I could see the action. I had an issue where some of the dirt chunks would bounce oddly so I did another test... and this... is broken. So you can put a wall in front of the drill such that the drill shoot pokes out of the window and it still spawns the dirt inside of the 1 grid space between the windows. Long in short its actually crazy fast.

Drae for transporting the big Foundations you need to left click as if you were going to place it and match it to where it is above the truck bed then drop it using "E" key into the bed of the truck. Also you should reset the orientation of the foundations because they are upside down and that might trigger some OCD viewers.

If the little chunks touch each other they clump up so the grinder is insurance against accidental clumping. At least that's the way it happened the last time Drae played this. Edit: Hold on a minute, he's not using grinders, that's a gem polisher.

hey drae, just so you know those harvesters can handle pretty much all of the dirt you can put through them. i made a test build in creative, had 102 drills going and aside from the lag of all the stuff going on the belts it went smooth af

na they will get backed up esp if your conveyor is running fast i had a total of 14 drills going into one t2 harvester and it kept clogging. after i lowered the pressure on my conveyor line prob solved tho

Being exited over the most inefficient setup 😅 drills gets better the deeper you go. And level 3 dirt needs a nuke to get removed. And you can compress all gems aswell. Just one. No need to sort gems. And the grinder after the "thunnel" is useless. Use a center hook to center all output

No need to add on for gem sorting just put the Gem compressor at the end of the conveyor belt you can a mix of gems and it will compress each single type of gem into one big gem

If u wanna clear dirt faster and make it not have floating small dirt dig a long hole to the side using a pickaxe and use a rake to flatten it or elevate it, not sure if the method still works but I saw Imcade do this hope it helps

Hey Drae. You can add a gem squasher machine (I forget the name) at the end and every time you crank it, the gems of similar type combine into just 4 gems (one of each type) increasing in value as you add but deleting the lag as many objects turn into 4 objects

You could download the pickaxe mod. Each upgrade will remove a bigger amount of dirt, so maybe look into that, if you want.

Build anywhere, a flight cap, a duplication wand and a time Controlling hour glass are all available if you turn creative on. Without having anything written on your screen in distracting red and green. The mods are better used for things like the shop in bridgepour and the pickaxe upgrade table… things that add content

The best item for me in the game became the cart you can buy in the city. I always buy a fast car when shopping, load it up and run back with it (if it's a lot of items and start to lag) The beauty about carts is, that it has no collision like the back of the car. You can easily position it in shops, load it up by standing in a good position and drop items consistently on the cart so they fall in the same place (you have to wait for the item to stop moving or it will have collision and influence the next item) I started to have carts with cables, pipes that look like they have one item of them in it, but I can pick as many as I want. The only issue is, that some items can lag very hard and very quickly, some other items are stackable to over a hundred and it still won't make a difference. I have a curse cart with so many buttons for explosions, that if I click it by accident, it will freeze my game for a solid 30 seconds and take another to drop the cart in place again

the grinder only splits dirt clumps into smaller clumps it is pointless after the processor try a centralizer instead. also gem compressors are a thing check them out and also tier 2 mines don't ask for a 1000 pounds of cloutium. they ask for a 1000 iron and 200 of cloutium instead. check the colors
