I was supposed to build the Hutch Pro Racer but a customer was waiting patiently for his parts to come in. The parts showed up a little late so I got right to building up his bike when I was planning on working on the Hutch. That is OK I wanted to do a video on this project as well. I hope you find it entertaining.

Dream job which I am sure you enjoy. I heard from somewhere and repeat it often...if you find a job you enjoy, you never have to work a day in your life.

I remember Mongoose bikes in the mid 70s they were very nice bikes.

The problem is most of the Mongoose bikes you see today are not nearly as nice as they were. Not all but most are pretty cheap. Don't get mad. I work on the original Mongoose bikes and then I have a Walmart Mongoose come in and it doesn't come close.

Love my two Mongoose Title Elite Pros! Such a nice frame at a great price. You just can't beat it.

It does seem to be good for the money. It's a great entry low cost racing bike. It does come at a cost. Some people with deeper pockets then me definitely has an advantage be cause these more expensive parts are faster most of the time. I guess that's why they are expensive. But this Mongoose gets people into the sport that otherwise never would have tried due to the insane amounts of money some of these people will spend. Thanks for watching!

@@alloutbikes more expensive doesn't mean better, imo. That's the cool thing about BMX... it mostly comes down to rider skill. One may have "better" parts, but they need to know how you use them. Was cool to see a video on the Title Elite, though. Not too many on KZbin.

I never said that this was not a nice bike. (That is why I did a video on it). And your right about rider skill for the most part. You can have all the skill in the world but if your not fit you can pass out before the finish line. The rider is the biggest difference. Now picture two riders both in the same shape. Two riders with the same skills but one rider's bike is 4 pounds lighter(like mine) and a stiffer more efficient crank. A crank that sends more energy to the back wheel. A wheel with ceramic bearings that start spinning when a fly farts in its direction. That rider will cross the finish line first everytime if they do everything right. And that rider may be the one that spent $3500 on his or her bike and either drives home in there $600 1998 Honda Civic with 403,367 miles on it that drinks a quart of oil every couple of weeks because he loves bikes or the other guy that drives a new Ford F250 that daddy bought and heads over to Starbucks for a 6 dollar cup. You don't have to have the Insanely expensive bike because people make mistakes. If you make a mistake in a race your probably going to lose a place or two. It boils down to if you gotta faster bike and your in great shape and you don't make a mistake. Your going to finish up there. Now I'm going to get off my butt and go ride. I just have to figure out which bike to ride. Am I going to ride my $600 Bontrager 24" Bmx cruiser or my Insanely expensive S&M LTF. After that I will go home in my 24 year old truck with over 261,000 miles on the clock. Have a good day. Its time to ride.

@@alloutbikes haha, you got me on the $3500 bike and $600 Civic 😆 I do agree 2 riders with the same skill, the one with the better bike should win. But like you said, don't make a mistake. I say give yourself enough time to ride both bikes 😁

Let's get this straight. I would rather have your Hutch. To be fair this bike can takes more of a beating then the Hutch. It should also be faster then the Hutch(please don't be mad I want your Hutch). This thing is fast. I also don't like it. I really would rather have your Hutch. Thanks for sharing.👍

What is the point of a Presta Valve?
@alloutbikes
@alloutbikes 2 жыл бұрын
Well.... One reason is Presta valves hold are better due to the locking nut after you put air in it. Another good thing about Presta is it requires a smaller hole to work. Its not much but if you use really thin rims it won't compromise the structural integrity of the rim as much. I have some really thin rims that would not be happy with a big hole drilled in them. I'm sure there's more but I can only think of two at the moment. Thanks for your question.👍

They will disallow strong riders from shredding off the valve stems due to high torque loads.

All i see is a over priced bicycle your store is way to over crowded as well if i go to a bike shop i don't want the feeling I'm stepping into a closet
@alloutbikes
@alloutbikes Жыл бұрын
I'm sorry you feel that way. I don't like how it's crowded myself but that is how busy it is and there is nothing I can do about it. There is no more room and no other locations I can go to around here. It's this way or closing the store. You should also do more research before deciding something is over priced. I personally hated this bike..... That's right. I didn't like this bike at all but I gave it an honest review from over 29 years in the bike business. And it's ok you don't have to come into this store but you are always welcome to stop by and maybe I can change your mind on somethings.
