both in Warcry and Star Wars Legion me and my brother use a similar rule to yours when it comes to using doors. If your mini is in base contact with the door you can spend an activation to use it and come out at a connecting door. If the door you're trying to exit is a trapdoor, you can't use it if another mini is standing on top of it. trapdoors are a way to quickly move from one end of the battlefield to the other, but you can have a mini guarding the exit, preventing the other player from using it, so there's a bit of strategy there :P on doors that are locked you also need to roll a die to see if you successfully open it! :D

allways inspiring to watch your stuff. have you ever thought about doing a video featuring your goto materials and tools and maybe some tips and tricks for starters? it would be a great asset to new terrain builders

I’m happy you like my content 😊 Yeah, was thinking about it - but not enough time to do it now… If you are interested you could check my article in 28 Magazine. (Volume 2), where I’m going through materials and tools I’m using😊

@@msterrainlab You'll no doubt cover this when you get up to painting, but how do you go about painting the wooden parts of your builds?
@msterrainlab Жыл бұрын
Yes, that’s the plan😊 But it will be a while… Basically it’s black primer, gray drybrush and then a wash (homemade mixture - based on Brown Brazil ink from AreoColors with some brown and black paint)😊 Hope that’s enough for now😉

Btw. AMMO mig has Released something similar to what I’m using. Green/yellow filter, but it comes in really small bottles…

Thankyou for sharing. The concepts of having separate sections obscuring the seams between boards and building sections so they could be re-used across the board in different orientations is genius. Have you considered keying them with magnets so they hold together more firmly during play?
@msterrainlab Жыл бұрын
I’m really happy to hear you like it!😊 Yeah, I was thinking about magnets - it for sure would help. But didn’t figured out how it should be done yet

Awesome board, can't wait to see it completed. Add scaffolds and zip lines between levels
@msterrainlab Жыл бұрын
Thanks!😊 Scaffolds will happen for sure! I need to think about the zip lines - maybe some lines with dirty clothes (what’s left more precisely😉)

hvilken type træ bruger du ? er det Balsa træ? og i såfald hvor skaffer man det i mængder ? XD wow det er fedt, det du får lavet:)

Hallo, My Danish is not ready good… but I think I have understood what you asking about😅 Yeah, it’s balsa wood. I’m ordering it from Amazon (I think UK - it was a while ago). A big boundless just to avoid paying extra tax 😊

@@msterrainlab No worries, just Saw Denmark in the description:) do you use different sizes? do you just cut them up, when you use them as floor panels?
@msterrainlab5 ай бұрын
I’m living in Denmark but I’m from Poland😉 It’s in different sizes and shapes soo I need to cut it from time to time

The modularity is mind blowing, great work! Do you have a video about making silicone molds for the panels you made?
@msterrainlab11 ай бұрын
Im really happy to hear you like it😊 Unfortunately no… I have made those long time ago and didn’t record it. If you are interested I have a short video on my Instagram called “Crates” (right below bio) where I’m making molds for wooden boxes - but no commentary there. Cheers!
