This is the best table I ever saw. And it’s still in raw color. Man I’m stunned. Thank you for going through the ideas behind the layout and showing all the connection points. the way you did your board dose look like someone was doing a demo on the buildings but keep starting and stopping. like there was a little guy running a demo crew and they kept knocking out the wrong walls. Its so good

So inspiring to hear your thoughts about these incredible builds of yours!! *From this I think, there are 3 key elements I will keep in mind when building terrain:* _Architectural Sense/Integrity ---- Aesthetics/Mood ---- Play-Ability/Accessibility_ Not in any particular order, just 3 things to keep in mind. And of course the 4th element for me is 'Storage/Space'. Like, seriously, where am I gonna put all this stuff? ;)

Im happy to hear you like it!!😊 Yeah, those the THINGS! I would also add (totally forgot about it, but probably will mention in some of the future videos) to make those things happen, would be to plan the whole board as detailed as possible (especially with such a packed environment)😊

Your terrain is always outstanding. Your board really has the feeling of a cramped medieval city whilst also seeming like a great place to play Mordheim. What was your process for planning the layout of the levels and the buildings?

Thank you very much for your appreciation!☺️☺️ I have made a rudimentary 3D model of the whole board. Mostly focusing on the streets and levels layout and over all positioning of the houses. That helped a lot to!!

I really love your work, but I couldnt quite figure out the cork technique. When I wirebrush the cork every brick falls of. Which glue do you use for the cork?

I’m really happy to hear😊 Yeah, it’s a bit tricky… I’m normally using acrylic caulk or hot glue. Even with those adhesives it can fell off(sometimes) if I will brush it to vigorously

Amazing build. Soooo much $$ worth of balsa in this!! Any reason you use balsa over xps for the timber framing just easier to make broken pieces or just a preference?

Thanks!😊 Yeah, a bit of balsa was used here😅 Its more about the durability. With all those hanging over broken “wood” pieces it would be really easy to damage if it was made out of foam
