My 1st paid gig. United Kingdom (Pre Beat Junkies) at Spice in Hollywood holding down the Reggae Room (early 1990's). Paul "Tha Man," (childhood friend) set up the gig for me. After the gig we all went to Won Kok in Chinatown for Chinese food. I remember PTM giving me some funds for the night, and was flabberghasted at the amount... that was the 1st time I got paid WELL! Thank you Paul, Rhettmatic and UK crew for the memory!

great to listen to the masters im one of the only mexicans living from scratch i took 11 years to start earning and after 20 years still surviving from it .. big up to all tableists around the globe for having the guts and passion to find a way in their countries, its so fucking hard but i dont have anything else that makes that happy its not the money its both passion and money that gives sense to my life

Good episode . I find it harder to get gigs now. i am a older DJ who recently came back to DJing. so many new DJs in jersey. hard for me to get clientele. how do i expand without stepping on toes?
