My interest for postcolonialism has been raising ever since I discovered your channel. Lately I've been watching and studyin your videos quite intensively. Next to me is Foucault's Archeology of Knowledge, Freire's Pedagogy of the Oppressed, Zygmunt Bauman's Globalization, Roy's The God of Small Things, Achebe's Things Fall Apart ... the list goes on. I’m wondering how to adopt a critical pedagogy while living in a post colonial oppressive regime? How can teachers be agents of changes while they themselves are subjugated under the same oppressive power! I think the more I get critical the more I feel frustrated, because being critical in an oppressive environment is life threatening and is not enough because you can’t have a praxis to take action and thereby, bring change.

Thank you. I guess we all deal with such things in one way or the other. Building solidarities and being aware of the limitations could be some good possible steps. In the end we can only do what is possible.
