Made two with my kids a couple weeks ago. It’s been fun to watch our new friend. Used ply scraps and they both designed their own roof pitches.

I did this for my 4 yr old grandson last year. I only used screws for the bottom, in case of cleaning. I predrilled for nails and gave him a hammer to drive the nails. He painted one and it hangs in their front yard. He really enjoyed using the hammer. It is his favorite tool.

Thank you for this video - I can now use it to talk my future wife into getting a saw mill. Cannot in any way build the bird house she wants without one...

This was a cool little project and I loved watching you work with your daughter. She is a doll. I love the idea of putting together the parts together as a kit and giving the kit away to kids to put together. I think that I will do that for my grand kids. Thanks for the idea and for another great project.

We did this project today. I really enjoy putting them together with my kids, but it hurt me a little when they decided to paint the cherry that I spent almost 2 hours dimensioning and preparing for assembly... If they learn nothing from my covid home school, they’ll learn to appreciate natural wood beauty haha

Morgan wanted to paint this one too! I told her we would have to make another for her to paint!

Tuned in to see what Mellissa Hill had to say. How cruel of you to put the large knot just below the opening. How many near sighted birds will bump their heads trying to get in.

Am I see wrong? Where the bottom of this birdhouse? On packages I see also the top and only 4 walls. The hight is also not good. Definitely should see some ornithological projects. You can do more harm than good.
