Education is the key & help me bring more finesse to my teaching & patience from education not just from what you teach or speak on, but what I actually research myself. All ties in.

I have a beautiful 9 month old presa but need some help with training her. Several trainers in my area say they won't work with hee breed. Do you have any recommendations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area?

She is a beautiful dog. Although, I am wondering why her front legs are so short and extroverted? Is she mixed with a bully breed or is it just a mutation/disorder or something? I've never seen a Presa with such a stocky front torso, it definitely looks like it was mixed with some kind of bulldog or pit bull breed. I know normally Presa's have a deep curve in the middle of the back and they're shoulders often sit lower then their hind but this looks too exaggerated.

My Presa cant be around other dogs drinking water, He will go out of his way to stop another dog from getting a drink. I need to do some long sessions and just make him watch other dogs drink water. It is hard to do that with a strangers dog because My Presa is very scary when he gets worked up. Otherwise he is great around people and dogs as long as those dogs do not go near a bowl of water.

A presa is completely different than a bully and their drive is different.

Usar comida para lograr obediencia o atención es un error muy grave, muchachos. La atención y la obediencia deben lograrse siempre, tenga el perro hambre o no la tenga.

Never use treats as motivation for your dog. Anybody would be able to motivate them by just giving them a treat. They should be only motivated by you the owner. A burglar will only need treats too get past that dog

That’s very logical. I’ll have to keep this in mind when I start training dogs again.
