I was thinking of some big nice baskets to put clothes to be put away out of sight, and some basic rules not to create clutter like never leaving anything on the floor or a regular 10 minute quick pick up every night. Lots of stuff everywhere are mentally draining so instead of spending a lot time cleaning, it's best to create systems that will help avoid big binge cleaning and organising sessions.

I have always been that way, sooooooo the weekend suits me fine for sorting things out. @lulamamie8524 I also work from home. The trick for me is not thinking of cleaning as work, but as taking care of myself, like taking a shower or doing my nails, because I deserve a cozy environment. Also I do something else I enjoy while cleaning, like listening to music, a podcast, talking to a friend, or even having a film or show I enjoy playing. I've literally watched all 10 seasons of Friends doing the dishes and tidying up the kitchen. Over many months, of course!

I had very similar habits as you of getting busy and things getting really out of control and creating chaos with feeling out of balance. I have been working hard on changing it, and the last year has been so much easier. Also, cleaning is good exercise as part of daily goals. Everything feels sooooo much better with the habit of cleaning as the day goes on. The house is clean at night. People can come over without preparation. I never really have to clean anymore because it is always getting done. It is a hard habit to change, but totally worth it. ♥️

Tonight we are celebrating my daughter's birthday with a tradition of Birthday Eve Slurpee's! The reason is because my water broke when my husband went to get a slurpee and I called him back so we could go to the hospital, and he did not get his slurpee... so now every year we go and get slurpees 😂

Doing dishes is the absolute worst!! I have a bad back and it just kills me. I'm one of those people who washes the dishes and then puts them in the dishwasher to sanitize them and because it dries them to a crystal clear finish. When I discovered thatdoing dishes hurts everyone's back, it made me feel way less like a big baby. My problem is that my teenage daughter leaves them in her room until she has a huge crusty pile that she usually brings in as soon as I finish cleaning the kitchen. I refuse to do her crusty dishes, so it's an ongoing battle.

She recently said that when Andy is home, he has his children - all these trips and the children have only been with them once. His children will begin to resent her, if she doesn't allow them to have "their" time with dad and it's critical that teenagers have that personal time. I would suggest it is not only her life that is being neglected, but his as well.

I get super busy too and get it and that is why I use paper plates that helps alot with less dishes and then I was the pan or whatever else as soon as I am done using it. I wash my cup from my morning drink as soon as I am done and I keep filling the same water bottle for water. Hope this helps and I love watching your videos.

After all this time watching you, I have come to the conclusion that you are an awesome cleaner, and organizer. The problem......... keeping it that way on a consistent basis......welcome to my world....LOL. For those with AHDH, watching you clean helps them to get up and clean. In fact, they are probably cleaning while you are. It is a studied fact that if they have someone around them or watching someone cleaning, it helps them stay focused to complete the task. I would love a tutorial on how you use that triple curling iron. I think you called it a crimper. I have one, and I don't know what I am doing wrong,, but it just doesn't do anything....and I bought a really expensive one. My hair naturally has body, and I don't usually have any issues getting it to curl. It's also about as long as your hair, but not as thick.
