I've got a bookcase that's lasted 5-6 years, going strong...of course, one of the pulls for the doors was missing when I got it (IKEA 1 hr in any direction). I just went to Home Depot and got some that I liked more. The small chest in the bedroom has an issue with one drawer, but that's my bad
