You are right.Some of these Ghanaian builders will tell you they know,but they don't really know.When building in Ghana,you will encounter these kinds of problems.The problem is that when they make mistakes, you have to bear the costs of their mistakes.

Yh so you should get time to supervise yourself. My mason is good but am always there and I let them do things how I want them after consulting them to know about the particular issue. They sometimes feel you may know the secret of the trade but establish good rapport with them and nicely try to understand whatever they are doing. Else you will suffer this lose.

Yeah that’s true, i was still a Noob in building that’s why all this happened.. but I’m able to learn more now

Cost of Labor for both the inside & outside plastering of the Mason’s was 11,460 Cedis for 3 Bed room Apartment.. Total Cement used was : 110 Bags but few bags were left.. Thanks for been part of the team, I appreciate

I cant really trust them , so i have burglar installed to support them.. I think that will make it feel more secured.

Yeah you have to install them before plastering if they’re same Turkey doors. But if they're wooden doors then you have to install the frames before plastering and install the door it self before painting.

Not cheap but i think he didn’t get his estimate right.. i didn’t bargain for less because i wanted a good job, but he made a mistake in his Estimate.. but lesson learnt! Thanks

The guy said he is not into building and doesn't know anything about construction, so give him the benefit of the doubt, pay over ghs12,000 alone for plastering and plumbing less materials is rather expensive
