For straight cuts, use the speed square to guide the saw. Hold the square with one hand, and, use the other for the saw.

A super great job on the wall. Burning up drill bits is the worst so I got a drill bit sharpener some years ago (Drill doctor 750 x) which does a great job on re-sharpening bits up to .75 inch diameter - easy to use too. How's aboat he cuts off the angle iron flush with the last board would that make it look more symmetrical or finished. I've managed to cut my CDO from wiping the water spots off my Chrome kitchen faucets from 14 times a day down to three. I think I'm doing pretty good? See what I did there, I went from an even number down to a odd number. That should drive someone crazy? Trying to drive other people crazy, a habit I developed from being dyslexic along with my CDO.

35 years of extensive testing have proven that Crocs are better for your feet them 8-inch laced uppers on steel toed boots where you're sweating all the time. The uppers support the joint and weaken the muscles. So when you're out partying in your shitkickers it's easier to sprain an ankle. Crocs old fart approved!

Boards look freshly treated, when they dry their going to shrink, put a old board vertically on each of the seams from back side top to bottom that will give strength and stop warping. Love the channel.

The amount of manure you guys have warrants a biodigester installed in your farm. My farm has only 200 cows in Africa and the benefits of the digester I have is phenomenal 👌. Ps I like your videos. I havd learnt a lot. Though I do stuff differently eg, my cows graze out in paddock morning to evening. ( No winters...) Milking cows are added some minerals while milking. Continue with the great work.

A 2X6 ran vertically and screwed in at the joints will really strengthen it. Keeps the tongue and groove from giving out. Looking great.

A little trick when working with this wood. take a scrap piece and cut it in half so you have the groove and a flat side. You can put the groove on the tounge and hammer it in on the flat side.

To strengthen up your corner, you'll be amazed what two deck mates in each board from your over lapping X axis into your dead ended Y axis board will do. A small pre-drill may help any worries of splitting the board.

We get rainproof plywood panels from local concrete factory. They make custom forms from these and then throw away after every tailor made concrete product. Just need to unscrew forms. Sometimes get very large panels.

Pro tip.. Use that speed square as a saw guide, super straight cut with only one tiny mark. I’d screw in a support brace on the back of the overlaps… nice looking pit!

The used oil was something my Daddy use to use. He also made a container for dipping the chainsaw's into. Crisco works well also, just dip the bit into the container.
