Really. Remember this blew up on the dyno with a tuner in the car. There was no explanation of what knock was read on the dyno or what the air fuel ratio was or what the fuel map looked like. Remember it’s the monkeys and the mods they install. If this car had a simple air fuel gauge and a knock monitor. Anyway why bother with that when you can just slap on mods and hope for the best.

It's true for all the cars, not just Subaru, if u do some changes to any car, with part's that are better than stock one, give a little bit of boost power and u resist the urge to full send it at every traffic light, u will have a super reliable car. The current car market is not oriented to reliability, is oriented on your pocket, and not on the good side, car company's be like: "...oh, your 2022 car broke? Come at the dealership to see if we can fix it for cheap so u can come back later this year or if we can't repair it, we recommend the new 2023 model..." I am from Europe, we don't have those big V8's or V10's, we got the "ColaCola size engines", 2 litters or even smaller and I had an Volkswagen with 1.9 TDI that served me and my father for like 500.000 KM on the stock engine, no moods, and when I sold it was still running like a champ and after this one I got a Seat with 1.4 TDI because the 1.9 is now banned, is was a good engine but too old for current regulations, and that shit broke at 115.000 KM and I had to rebuild the engine. The 1.9 was from 2001 and the 1.4 was from 2017... And I was not the first to have this problem so... It wasn't badluck... They just wanna sell as many cars as possible...

Second thing, could you please provide a list of parts and cost spreadsheet for your build? Loving this series!
@chandlerbraaten8472 жыл бұрын
There are other alternatives to the access port. The access port only became the go-to for so many people because of how cheap it was and how easy it was to use with the OTS maps; which might I add, is part of the reason so many "tuned" Subaru's fail in the first place. I say good riddance.

@CaptainTexas922 жыл бұрын
@@JUSTRYINGTOWATCH it’s a heating issue. UEL headers on these Subaru’s tend to let that cylinder to be 10-20 degrees higher than the other three. Really dangerous on an already flimsy engine. Besides the long block, turbo, and front mount intercooler, the parts list pretty close to what I am running in my 2010 WRX engine wise. I am running a big honking Process West Verticooler. I got the IAG fuel rail and line kit but replaced the rails when I got the radium fuel pulse dampeners, they didn't fit where IAG provided the spot for them, I am surprised you are not running a upgraded fuel pulse damper with those big injectors your have. Maybe you are? I didn't see you mention them at all or missed it. My tuner had to do some stuff to smooth out the lean points in the fuel mapping with the ID1300X injectors I have, when I got the new fuel rail and fuel pulse damper hooked he took out the spikes in the mapping and cleaned up some rough points. I think I got a marginal increase in fuel economy, but I know it revs a lot nicer now and idles a lot smoother since then.
