Nice build! But one thing: The fans on the radiator should be with the face facing outside and the grid facing to you, so they are set to intake, because you want positive air pressure to keep the dust away form your components. Congrats!🥳

That’s incorrect, you should have the bottom fans as intake as well as the 2 140s in the black and have the aio as exhaust so it expels hot air and dust that’s why you have a dusty setup y oh have 5 fans a exhaust

Yo for your next build or even for this one I’d recommend getting a b650 or a motherboard that supports gen am5. This will future proof your build so you can keep the same gen of cpu longer. Other than that build looks great!

great bulid, but just two thing that you could change are that 1. switch the ram from slot 1 and 3 to 2 and 4 to get dual channel. And the gpu is a bit weak for that cpu so maybe upgrade the gpu so that the bottle neck isnt as bad.

Yes! When recording I forgot to show that I changed the ram to 2 & 4. I needed to move the ram because my aio was too big, so it was a win win.

You won't have to spend this much to get the same or better performance... You can build one with the new gen Ryzen 7600, 32gb ddr5 and an Rtx 4070 all under 1200 and i would perform way better than the one in the video. And if your budget is even more constrained then go for an Rtx 4060 and 7600 build for under $850 And guess what the fps are still gonna come higher than this, thanks to the new gen cpu and ram

Dude, i love the video and im so happy that you got your dream pc! But also as a pretentious member of the pcmr i have to complain about the specs. 1. You went with the 5900x instead of something like the 7800x3d or at least 7600x so that you can upgrade this build ina few years 2. You spent a lot of money for an air when an air cooler would work just fine 3. The air that you got was a 280mm instead of a 360mm 4. You could have gotten a better power supply for cheaper 5. If you moved around where you spent your money, you could have gotten at least a 4070 super or a 7900 gre 6. You got a corsair sad with a heat sink when you could have a gotten a much faster and much cheaper gm7000 7. You mounted the radiator on the side instead of the top but i get it because it was a 280mm aio 8. No cable extensions for the gpu so that it looks better :( (edit: nvm i just saw your latest short). But never mind about my complaining, we’re always happy to see someone get a gaming pc no matter the choice of parts! The things that i do like what you did were 1. You put the ram in the 2 and 4 slots to use the full dual channel potential 2. You got 32 gb(hopefully 6000mhz cl30) instead of 16 or 64 or 4 sticks. Once again so happy to see you join the pc master race and i love the build

Brother you have no idea what you are talking about. -Suggesting using a 7800x3d with a 4060 is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. -Spending money for an AIO literally does not matter, and doesn't affect performance. If anything it opens up options for a future cpu upgrade, as there won't be any need to improve the cooling solution. -The O11D Mini doesn't natively support a 360mm aio, so suggesting he use one is stupid. -No he could not have gotten a better psu for cheaper, the O11D mini only supports SFX PSUs. -Getting a 4070 is the only thing here that makes sense, the 4060 is a terrible card. -He used a samsung 990, not the corsair ssd. Watch the video. -Mounting the radiator on the side is fine. If he mounts it at the top there would be no room for his 3 120mm fans in the case. -6000mhz ram? You can't use DDR5 ram on an AM4 motherboard you donkey. Stop trying to give advice on things you know nothing about.

Good selection, but I wouldnt have gone with the 4060. The 4000 series in general is just a skip it generation like the 2000 series. A better choice would have been the 3070. Or, a 4070 SUPER to go with the Ryzen 9 a bit better

nice build but a few things. 1. the ryzen 9 and a 4060 is not a good combo because the cpu will be bottlenecked by the gpu but there’s not much you can do abt it since you already bought both. id suggest your graphics card being the first upgrade you make 2. put the ram in slots 2 and 4 instead of where you have it now on 1 and 3. this could cause problems with your ram later if you don’t fix it 3. the fans on the cpu should be flipped because right now you have negative pressure meaning that there’s more hot air than cold air in your system. it may not be an issue right now because you have a water cooler and fans right below the gpu but if you start to experience high temperatures in your pc id flip the fans around to see if that works before doing anything else. with all that being said enjoy your new pc

Very interesting decisions for a $2000 build... 5900x makes zero sense, even if you were already on am4. At this budget there is no reason not to get am5. Spent WAY too much on the less important components and way too little on others. Extremely overkill cooler, strix motherboard and 990 pro. If all I needed was a 4060 I would lower my budget as basically everything else will not really affect the performance at all such as the 5900x. I would rather not spend half my budget on aesthetics.
