Tomboy I hope you take a long time to finish your bike because these videos are the best! You and Simon are hilarious! He's a great teacher though and knows his stuff. You are a good student and are doing fantastic work. I love it! I wonder if Simon's TIG welder has a water cooled torch. It looked like it in the video. I'm sure your bike will be awesome when you are done. Fantastic video Lady! 🌹 Ride SAFE and BE safe! 👍👍

Very enjoyable,, but you should wear ear plugs ,I am deaf from using angle grinders for years , anyway the frame is coming on well. Well done Laurel and Hardy.

Who thinks D got any flapper disks from the previous trades! I'm surprised a harely frame withstood that much grinding. The title should have been "sparkle wars". Did Simons duck tape patch work? Will the new frame pipe have any "tuning fractures"? Stay tuned, same channel for the D & Simon show.
@MINTCUSTOM54 ай бұрын
😂 SOAP...... Harley frames are very thick. But we're using 60 grit flapper discs not grinders so it's only surface stuff we're taking off really. Stay tuned bud 👍👍👍👍
@Cobra427Veight2 ай бұрын
Hi just a tip , if you keep on grinding without ear plugs (fitted correctly) you might not go deaf , but little by little you will develop tinnitus, that's that ringing you get in your ears like at a rock concert ! ? , and every time you grind , it does a bit more damage , you'll be surprised how quickly it will develop and there is no going back , trust me if you think only 70 year Olds have bad hearing, tinnitus really sucks .

Flapper disc arm pump, is it good training for the track? Simon with tissue paper in his facial orifices 😂 reminded me of Baldrick. The editing for this (each) video must take ages 👍
@tomboyabit4 ай бұрын
Haha have to ask Simon if it’s appropriate training. Yeah takes long, but I love the process of creating a story of many random bits filmed. Also I laugh a lot editing Mint series. Only on a sunny day I wish I’m outside riding.
@MINTCUSTOM54 ай бұрын
Good point, I think any upper body training will be good but yes forearms take a bashing. Baldrick will have to be explained to D as she hasnt got a TV lol

In my head, I'd imagined Bear with a different voice entirely. Different accent, tone, all of it different. This was like watching a film you know dubbed for a foreign audience and the voices all not fitting quite right. Nowt wrong with big Bear's voice at all, just way different from my totally wrong assumption 😂😂😂. Keep asking him stuff from now on. Let us hear his thoughts and wisdoms

Egli frames don't have a bent tube in them. Might be nice to build a chopper in that style.

CB750 was non runner when I got it. The purpose was to learn while building a bike for a Bike Shed Show. That mission was accomplished. We still working on issues of making it run properly. GSXR is running, it’s a track bike. I will ride it on track. Track is closed in winter.

Too bad you're building such an awful bike to ride. I dont know why anyone has ever thought harleys or choppers were ever cool at all. They're not at all.
@MINTCUSTOM54 ай бұрын
You obviously don't know that many people then 😂 As a biker I champion ANY motorcycles in any culture ( apartfromBMW😊) , its a shame you're so closed minded. Also the achievement of building anything yourself to ride should be commended. You should be proud of yourself 😁👍👍👍👍
