If you haven’t already, switch the TV into “game mode” so the refresh rate can keep up with the input. Then there won’t be such a delay. Awesome setup though! Looking to upgrade soon to something very similar. The P1x is at the top of my options.

I keep the driving line on too until I know my braking marker for each turn, and remember it for each turn, which takes time.

Spending all that money , then buying the cheapest monitor available & i do not understand the racing seats , the seatbelts I see in most rigs just make me laugh .. Personally I’ll use the same seat I use in my Mazda 3 .

the input lag is so noticeable, just go into the cockpit camera mode without wheels and without racing lines, it is much immersive

The rig and the wheelbase + wheel is pretty nice, but why you cheaped out on pedals. at least you shouldve gotten yourself a LC kit for the breakpaddle. Makes a big difference. HE Sprint or Ultimates or even Meca Cup One pedals wouldve been the way to go. And just switch over to TV and triple screens. That makes a real big chance as well. And try other games. Like Assetto Corsa, ACC, Raceroom Experience and Iracing are WAAAAAY better than F1 ;). But its a nice build and i hope you still enjoy it. Ahh and turn off that helping line ;). Noone needs stuff like that man. Not with a rig like that ;)

Good stuff man, been loving the e90 etc content, have a modded e90 M3 and e36 M3 track car myself. Cool vid,thanks for that,I'm looking at getting in to sim racing soon and thus is similar to the route I want to take.Im looking at the P1X but I'm going to go for the podium DD wheel ( PS4 and I'm assuming PS5 compatible) im also going to go with a too wnd pedal set and a single screen set up ( possibly curved 49" ) People might say that's way too expensive to start out but the way I look at it is I'll only end up upgrading down the line anyways...thoughts?

to activate the force feedback.

@@DirtyBeans Wrong sort of its to activate high torque mode. You still get ffb without but for safety the force feedback is limited without the key in

If you watch closely there's a delay between the wheel and the monitor it's pretty significant

Dude, you got to do it in VR man it ‘beats the shit’ out of those old 2D screens. Once you go VR you will never go back to flat, two dimensional screens. In VR it pulls you ‘all the way’ into the game.👊🏼👀

You gotta love that SimLab stuff. They’ve made it so affordable to have a proper chassis that you’ll probably never grow out of. Make sure you tighten that big ring on the DD1s QR Hub. When’s the transition to PC coming?
