Ali, Ali, Ali, grease is a no, no, and so is dry! Carbon and aluminium fuse together in a weird way mate. Carbon paste on the seatpost please!!! Also on any other surface where carbon meets metal Congrts on the new bike, hope you have some great fun with it :)

Never ridden an e-bike before but I guess they must be great fun! And I agree this one is the nicest one I have ever seen. I am also impressed by what you are able to do on that thing already! Enjoy it and keep up the good work!

I bought my first one a few weeks ago, the only negative point I have to give is the speed limit the motor shuts off after and makes pedalling really hard. Since I use mine in hybrid mode for off-roading and city commuting that annoying feature disappointed me a lot. But with a little bit of extra-legal motor tuning that issue was solved and now riding an analogue bike feels boring and slow.

Never go in dry Ali! Carbon assembly paste on the seat post please! No fun when it gets stuck. Bike looks mega though, enjoy it!

For some reason, pivot had issues with their carbon compound and assembly paste so they recommend no treatment on their seatposts.

That's super cool! I had not planned on getting an E-bike for a few more years. But, my sons and I went to the Bentonville Bike Fest a couple of weeks ago and we were able to try out the YT Decoys. We got a special discount for demoing the bikes. My oldest son bought the MX version and I knew I better get one or I would not be keeping up. So I got the 29er version. Got it and assembled it this week. Took it out for its maiden ride today. Really liking it! Also, I liked your agricultural comment. Had to learn about that in vocational agricultural class in high school.

Amazing bike and build! Hyped to see some E bike trials riding. I find with the pipe cutter if you spin it a million times and move the tensioner in very slowly you get far less of a slip forming, also I found a smaller tire lever works amazingly for tightening Shimano cranks!

The forks are not too slack on this build. Im sure you will do amazing things on this bike. never risked over 26" rims Dream build for me, although I will never go E because Im an urban rider!

I think it looks awesome,but my opinion of improving the looks would be slightly wider top tube to help with looking more proportionally appealing next to the bigger down tubes look of viewing it from the side such as more height per se so it looks a little better and yet it's my opinion. It does look awesome how it is though.

instead of grease for the carbon, use carbon paste. its basically grease with gritty particles in it. it will keep things from slipping since you'll have to apply less torque on carbon parts. also use this on droppers even in an aluminum frame because if you torque down a dropper too much it will hinder its function. enjoy!

The bar note sounded like a D to me. Also, you shouldn't feel the extra engagement point slack with your legs since the crank is attached to the chainring right? So for your normal crank based moves it should still be precise.

Big fan of your channel and of course your riding… but in the spirit of constructive feedback I think the whole cute thief / overly humorous/ gesticulating hands with the head cut off / voice over routine needs to be used sparingly. I know you can’t be all things to all people, but with that in mind going all-in on the aforementioned approach could just alienate long term viewers. I personally find it hard to watch. Honestly I think it’s beneath a rider of your talent and influence. I do genuinely mean this constructively as I would love to see your channel to continue to grow!

If around 4 years is long term enough, I can confess I like it. I mean Ali still makes riding videos. I don't think he has any plans of stoping making riding videos and for bike build videos I like this approach.

I think it is great that Ali’s personality is shining through but I’d just like to see a bit of a less-is-more approach when it comes to this sort of thing.
