You guys did a killa job, nice one!!! Beautiful finish and she looks fast. She didn't look to stable over mild chop would that be due to its width? British water feels like riding a hard wheel skate board over gravel! 😂 so I am looking for any design features to help smoothen the ride but yet I want that sick, sleek arrow look! Hit me up with any advice if you can please? 😎

Hi man, this sup is so dope!! I've one question to do: what did you use to get side handles on sup? Did u get onto just with screws? Cuz i need to put one of them on the center but my fear is that, screwing it, the water can penetrate into the board...how can i do that? Thanks!

Nicest chesapeake Sup ive seen without a doubt. Have you seen the jen paddleboard plan? About the same as the clc plan but wider all-around especially in the tail. Would be great for the bigger paddler, fishing touring ect. What would you charge to build one? If so how do i contact you?

I'm interested to have more info about the top layer, how thick it is? The heat press is used only for make the pattern with the different wood type? I don't plan to make a pattern like yours (even if is a pleasure to eyes I don't have access to that kind of heat press machine) anyway I want to build the top with a veener and my principal concern is understand what's the right thickness for have a lightweight layer but avoid unwanted flex when glassing

muy bueno, quería saber qué se le aplica en la madera para pegarla ?

I don't think it is the Kaholo. I'm looking at the plans for it, and the shape of the bulkheads is completely different, unless he cut out a lot of material from the bulkheads to save weight.

how did you join your 1/4" ply? Did you key them together? any tips on making the keys?
@tireballastserviceofflorid77719 жыл бұрын
emoneywon Called a scarf joint. 4 - 1 works well. 1/4" thick x 4 + 1" So you wan to draw a line 1" back from the edge then bevel the edge. You can by "scarfers" online. Also West System makes an attachment for a circular saw. Always use a quality marine rated epoxy and on the scarfs add a little cab o sil to the epoxy for the scarfs.
