Wow after having build a regular type ( chlorinated ) pool I see this video. We are on top of a small mountain with a circular view. My wife is a farmer at heart and I know this would have suited her style much better than what we have. Fantastic - - garden pool !

Impressive. Did the shallow filter area warm up the water in the pool area as well as clean it out?
@peppevenez4 жыл бұрын
Not really, because the gravel in the biofilter is 50cm deep. The water flows outside only a few cm. But the goal is not to heat the water too much otherwise the processes for the formation of filamentous algae increase.

Thanks for sharing this amazing project. What makes me so curious about the level tank. Is the level tank lower than swimming zone or just couple cm above the bottom of swim zone?
@peppevenez2 жыл бұрын
I missed your question. Sorry. The level tank is in line with the edge of the swim zone. The water inside is at the same level of the swim zone so I can control the water level from It.

Did you have to water proof the concrete or is the liner underneath enough?
@peppevenez2 жыл бұрын
The liner is enough but the concrete need a treatment for painting.

@@peppevenez thank you for you answer. I am thinking of making a pool which will have liner underneath and flagstone fixed with concrete on top, and was really wondering if the water could muess up the concrete if i put liner under it.
@peppevenez2 жыл бұрын
Surely to attach tiles you need a rigid wall and it must be treated with specific products to stay in contact with water. 👍

@@peppevenez Only the floor would be concrete and stone. Would i have to waterproof the concrete before I lay the stone? The walls would be sloped of or i would have big boulders where the wall would be steep. Thank you for your advice

If the regen zone was fully integrated with the swimming area, maybe it wouldn’t look so green. Especially since you painted the swimming zone white.
@peppevenez3 жыл бұрын
Hello, make a natural swimming pool with an integrated regen zone means to have a bio filter with a static water system. It is a good method but it's not good for the climate where i live, a very hot area with a four seasons. My system is a dynamic water filter, the water flows through the lava stone and there is continuous water movement. The green water is normal in a natural swimming pool, it is the effect of unicellular algae, this is possible to tone down with a UV light, but we decided not to use one. 😊

Wow, potrei spiegare come si fa? Ne vorrei fare una qua in Sardegna. Dove trovi come si fanno?
@peppevenez4 жыл бұрын
@slystarsky69764 жыл бұрын
@@peppevenez Grazie mille!!
@peppevenez4 жыл бұрын
Entrambe vogliono costantemente pulizia.
