Really enjoying your builds. It seems obvious in retrospect but your use of base coating with Mod Podge and any color BUT black paint is a revelation

Very good. I love the brickwork jig and the way you made the bricks look interesting. There is something incomplete feeling about it though. An oil wash or gentle weathering combined with a tone or two lighter undercoat would make this sing. One of my common paint frustrations is having too dark an undercoat. I find it makes the shadows unrealistically dark looking.

Often when there's a mix of massively different materials it can be rather obvious. With this build it all seems to blend together rather well

Hey man! When making the mod podge/craft paint mixture, what brown paint exactly did you use? The brown color you got is EXACTLY the tone of brown I’ve been trying to get for my bases!

Really nice tower. Some connstructive critisism: It doesn't look Arnorian or Gondorian to me however. Arnor probably has a simple, square Romanesque-style, compared to Gondors Byzantine empire-look. Instead this tower seems a bit more Dark Numenorian, something that can be found in Umbar with surroundings, built by Dark Numenorians to celebrate their "glorious ancestry". The Numenor of the series is not the good Numenor of he first few rulers, but the decadent & evil Numenor of the later generations of Numenorians that has grown rich and fat on exploiting the mainland. I suspect a lot of the lavishly decorated buildings we see in this series is newly built by the Dark Numenorian kings & paid for by illgotten gains.
