Another beautiful edition. Nice chase, and those icicles, so beautiful - but so dangerous. I've heard some lurid tales, even in Britain, about icicles.

Amazing landscapes friend and snow so wonderful that it looks👌❄ (I did not know nor did I know that Canadian National implemented a RailBox, working as a Braking Power [CN 0069] I was surprised!) Kind regards from MX!

CN has many Air Distributor cars, usually used in cold temperatures, also used to replace DPU's positioned through out the trains to help with air supply. Thanks for watching!

Awesome! I love seeing Canadian trains in the US, I suppose its a treat to see a UP in Canada.

We use more UP power through southern Alberta and BC than CP power. Nice to photograph, not nearly as nice to be on, smelly worn out crap and the heaters usually don't work.
@TracksideTyson3 жыл бұрын
UP is quite popular running on CP trains, in this case running on CN it was unique, thanks BNSF1458!

I have never been able to understand why some people love snow and ice and cold weather, ti brings nothing but hardship and hard work and huge problems for birds and animals, long live the sunshine and warmth Brrrrr

Interesting, is CN short on power? well that explains why I am seeing some of the first UP stuff in your videos I guess, doesn't UP and CP work together? Love the UP chase scene, man you really capture the best chase scenes!!! Excellent video as per usual my friend!!!
@TracksideTyson3 жыл бұрын
Definitely not short on power, CP just owes them hours, things seem back to normal now again. There's many great vantage points for chasing on this line for parallels pace shots! really glad you like it, thanks for the support and great comments!

CP is lending CN some hours so there has been foreign power all over CN’s stuff and lots of CN’s stuff spread around on CP trains...pretty cool stuff to come across lately! Thanks D!

Because Canada's economy is hardwired to the United states economy and most Americans are unaware that Canada not China does all the heavy lifting when it comes to trading with uncle Sam

Are those the Rocky Mountains? It’s one part of the American continent that I would like to see!!

This area is called the “Fraser Canyon” with Cascade mountains, the Rocky Mountains are further North. Thanks for the comment!

I have been a silent viewer for many years on this channel and this will be the first comment i send. The videos you post are filmed around the same month it has been uploaded or you capture then store them for awhile and then upload them ? The reason i ask is because i come from Australia and would like to visit BC again next year in Jan / Feb and watching these videos in those months youve uploaded gives me and idea how the scenery is with snow and. ever green trees and. wondering how. cold it is to be standing and tolerating it waiting patiently for some train action. Thank you

Must be an EPA thing, the up power doesn't qualify for tier 4 so cp gets it cheap to run in Canada
