That is incredible my man! But, you’re nuts - taking a wheel to s piece of sheet you just spent that much time on?! Your hand must be a heckuva lot steadier than mine.

You definitely have skills son. I used to use an English wheel back in the late 80's working on aircraft older than me...lol What gauge metal are you using sir because I'm about to start work on my old Bronco? If I were to guess 20 gauge.

Dale Lowery I bet you had a ton of fun working on those old planes! Most of the stuff I am using on these panels is 20 gauge. It matches the thickness on the rest of the car which hopefully will make things look cleaner in the end. What are you going to be doing with the bronco?

Devan, Your right about working sheetmetal...it's very rewarding to step back and say hey I did that! As for the old Bronco I've finished the drivetrain and now it's time to start knocking out the rust and finally decide what colors I want to paint it. I'm thinking about two tone black and silver in that time period. I'm a little limited due to the interior color that is dark blood red. The interior is amazingly in pretty good shape for being over 30 years old so I'm hesitant to change it. What about your 79? Are you going to go with... the freewheeling scheme? Oh and I like the 1976 truck grill or at least it looks about that year. I knew a couple of people that changed it back in the day because they didn't like the grill they came with.
