Building Roof And Stone Fireplace At My Cabin
This is the second part of my cabin build. I was recently able to finish out the roofing with river birch and looks much better while also providing some protection from falling branches and the direct sun on the tar paper.
For the fireplace, about 16 bags of concrete weighing 80lbs each were all hauled across the sage brush to my cabin. Lots of work went into this fireplace and I may continue to build onto the chimney, for now, it settles in nicely. Local rock from the area provide for each piece I need to build the foundation. Mostly basalt, some chert mixtures and river rock. The fireplace looks and works smoothly.
Really appreciate everyone. Thanks again, more cooking videos will be soon. More Survival drops happening this summer.
