I’ve read many drivers talk about driving these back in the day. One thing in common was how that cab air ride took some getting used to.

Howard always did (since he’s retiring soon) some of the best resin anywhere, people would say Modelhaus did great products and I’d tell them they needed to see KFS to truly see accurate parts made in quality resin.

KFS had a CL9000, IH 9600 cabover, Mack F cabover and White Road Commander II cabover as well.

Remember the release back then but was unable to buy it. Finally got mine recently - like the buy two deal you landed! Be sure as you mention in other videos to get the cab stripes from Jerry Reeter at modeltruckin'. I HAD to have the wavy style as they were distinctive to the cabover. Only add on to this kit I will do is the flat plate type rear crossmember.

LOL, those stripes are called the “Soft Fan” by Ford. There’s a “Hard Fan” stripe setup too. I designed both sets for JBOT in Canada. Jerry got them from Jim at JBOT.

@@lotso69 Well Thank You for that, I have a few other decal sets from Jim but didn't get my CL9000 kits before his closing, so had to get them from Jerry. I am glad Jerry now has them. I love to build daycabs too, but real struggle to choose it on this one, though would make a perfect Yellow freight build!

The more I watch this, the more I want several! What time period is this vehicle, please? And the price of this resin kit?

Excellent. Is there cad of this? A 1/14 scale to make rc would be nothing short of amazing.

I wouldn’t know on that, I’m sorry.

does anyone make the Pork Chop Express,” the 1985 Freightliner FLC-120
@jekylljr-trucker72383 жыл бұрын
easily build one, start with an italeri 1/24th scale freightliner ,would need the 60'' bunk then scratch build the roof , jerry reeter at modeltruckin just came out with the decals
@lotso693 жыл бұрын
Italeri makes the FLC and Modeltruckin.com has the decals. The tall sleeper would need to be scratch built or by combining two kit sleepers.
