David R Lentz, Dublin, Ohio USA This resin kit of the Ford (1958?) N-900 Medium-Duty Conventional Cab Truck looks SO interesting! The lack of any assembly instructions I find deeply daunting. Ideally, I would like at least four, one as a single axle, the second as a double (with several spare parts left over!). The fourth I would place in a contemporary setting, making it look rather worn and world-weary (dents, faded paint, some rusting, etc.), though not to excess. Have you since finished your build of this kit? If so, have you made a video of it? Would you have made an after-the-fact assembly instructions that might facilitate our efforts in building the kit? On a personal note, I hope you are feeling well. I know firsthand what chronic illness and physical disabilities can mean to people.

I was getting anxiety just looking at all the thin casted parts. Definitely a lot of prep work there. My introduction to resin was the AITM Convoy Mack. You could pretty much assemble that right outta the box it’s so well casted. This however wouldn’t be for me with my ham fisted ways.

What time period is this truck, please? The following is an update of an earlier comment. This is so cool! And wistfully painful just to watch from afar. I so wish I could afford to build my own. I wish you could 1) find several dozen (or several hundred!), 2) assess one for assembly, 3) develop an orderly assembly plan, 4) create an instruction booklet, 5) devise from two kits the double axle version, using from the chassis frame the extension required (save the remainder of the kit for spare parts), 6) make two models, one each of the different versions. I would like to see these closely similar (same paint scheme, markings, etc.) for a side by side comparison, 7) modify two kits to create a double axle version with an extended chassis. Add to the kits what substitutions (brass rod, polystyrene strip stock, copper wire, etc.) you deem necessary; include the exact measurements of each modified part. I would buy (when I could afford the purchase) several single-axle and several double-axle kits. Thanks for letting me muse wistfully.

Yes, I prefer Castrol Super Clean though. You can get it at Walmart or auto parts stores.
