This is what companies should do. If the library is strings, let the demos be strings. If they are effects, let the demos be effects. And so on. And of course, a demo track in context with the relevant library. Companies do it wrong, because they always make complete demos, and the library in question is lost among others.

So many new synths are becoming either or these days. there’s thousands of ways to get these sounds from other libraries, but what Heavyocity is really good at is making it easy to get what you need without having to dig too far. I have several of their libraries, their samples are all great and their approach is modern, with decent to great looking UI. Good tools get out of your way and that’s what G2 does - again. Would love to see past expansions updated with the new look and engine too, like v3 :)

Sounds amazing. So the entire track was indeed created exclusively with multiple instances of "Gravity 2" with "Factory Content" only, so if I were to buy Gravity 2 now, I could theoretically recreate the complete track?

Surprised the discount is not better for folks like me who paid the high price for Gravity 1... Everyone who even bought the inexpensive extensions gets the same discount. I paid nearly $500 for the first gravity and I will not be paying the same as everyone else for this one. Would love to have it but money is tight these days and the pricing seems unfair for us long-term loyal customers

Save your money and learn sound design and use some good plugins available out there to create what this overpriced instrument for loyal customers can do. Yes I agree, I bought almost all their instruments including gravity 1 and their expansions, and I'm a hobbyist, and just like you, and many hobbyists out there like me, this is a kick in the guts. As I said, learn sound design, and layering, and learn to create your own unique sounds. Don't be tempted to waste your money on this instrument.

Heavyocity stands for high quality and reliability. In contrast to Spitfire Audio as an example, your product is always complete. Nevertheless, I think this price is too high and I unfortunately forego it.

$150 off isn’t sorted out? There’s two questions you have to ask - are the samples worth it, and does the synth bring something new to the table that makes your work easier?

Long time supporter of heavyocity. Could use this for sure but only a $50 crossgrade? Can’t swing it. Should be more like $199 after crossgrade. Love your libraries and own almost all of them but please rethink your crossgrade pricing for owning OG gravity

It’s $150 off for cross grade pricing in the release window. True that makes it more than both the cross grade to damage 2 and synth destruction, but I also can acknowledge that things are just getting more expensive in general, and G2 brings a lot for its package.
