You’re really doing a comprehensive video series on this kit! Like the Bearhawk, you are giving all of us great info to go by. Although, the Bearhawk definitely sharpened your video skills for this series. Damn fine job. Can’t wait to see this plane in the air. Keep up the great work sir.

Thanks again for posting these videos! I’m not sure if a sling is in my future, but I really like their product! Pre-Internet (and pre-kit planes), the Thorp T-18 had their “Mutual Aid Society“ to pass on good tips and supports other builders. You are doing the same for modern day builders. It’s really appreciated!

Since that bracket was intended to use nylock nuts, maybe some thread locker would be a good idea

You are moving fast!

Thanks! Not looking for a speed record, just have the time, space, tools and previous build experience to help me.

Doing a great job, very meticulous, I’m not sure I would have the patience for it….

LOL. I don't have patience when something gets in the way of my build time!

Very informative videos. I'm curious what the plan is for corrosion control. Will the internal structure be accessible for future Corrosion X treatments, or will the inherent corrosion resistance for 6061 aluminum suffice? Since this is a slow build, I think the parts are not alodined by the factory.

Since 6061 T6 AL is the stainless steel of aluminum, I am not concerned. I have discussed this with several engineers that specialize in metallurgy and they concur.

Great job!! I'd never have the patience to do something like you are doing. I'm curious, how much would you say you have invested in the tools required to complete your aircraft?? Keep up the videos...I can pretend I am building it. At least helping!!

I have no idea how much I have in my tools. This is my second experimental build and I have established my tools over time for most of my life. I'm sure I have or need more than the average build would require. Thanks for watching!
