On this week’s episode, Dr. Andy Galpin, professor of kinesiology at California State University, Fullerton, joins WHOOP VP of Performance Science, Principal Scientist Kristen Holmes to discuss the importance of strength training, how to develop an optimal strength training regimen, how to train based on desired results from hypertrophy to endurance, training for high performance vs. longevity, strength training for women, and so much more. Dr. Galpin is also the Director of the Center for Sport Performance at CSU Fullerton where he conducts kinesiology and human performance research, and one of the world's top experts in the strength training space.
